They made it a two-day trip and spent a day and night in Portland. Gabrielle showed Aneko around, acting as a perfect tour guide. They were sullen and spoke less than usual. Aneko drove north from Portland and worried she led Gabrielle on. She certainly didn’t mean to. Was Gabrielle expecting Aneko to move to Bandon?
