“What’s Athena making her do?” Hades asked his general and, he supposed, spy. His fingers drummed a rhythm on top of his desk, a staccato beat that Thanatos frowned at. “Stupid things,” Thanatos replied, making himself comfortable on Hades’ new office couch. “Kath just ran—or should I say fell on her face multiple times trying to?—up and down the mountain and now Athena’s just bestowed her first trial.” His eyebrow shot up. “A trial?
