"Consider your words very carefully, boy, this is an irreversible thing that must not be taken lightly. Once turned, there is no going back. And perhaps you haven't really thought this through. By becoming one of us, you will be coming with us as part of the pack when we leave this village because a wolf without a pack is as good as dead. Your life will never be the same."
Alex frowns. "I have considered it, sir. If my mother becomes one of you, then she will be part of the pack. I'm thinking instead of hanging around like a deadweight human, I can be more useful to you as a werewolf. I would like to earn my keep."
