The first day of the summer fair…
Scout and Wulfric are manning the stall for the first half of the day. Cotton and Pad will be doing the next shift.
"So what did he say?" Scout asks through mind-link as they rearrange the stacks of bottles in the space behind them.
Wulfric frowns. "Nothing, but I think Wolfe understands. Even Howl seems repentant. I really hope this doesn't happen again. Now we have to be extra careful again and travel farther and longer to avoid the rumours following us. We'll head to the northern wilderness for a bit this time… let things cool down before we go back to civilisation, but you and the others should use any chance or conversation to spread the word that we're heading south after this fair.
