Dolcenea’s POV
“Neyah!!! Neyah!!! NEYAAHHHH!!! Wake up!”
Lilly was very loud and her voice started hurting my head when I opened my eyes. I was in my room with Lilly standing right on my nose. “Get away Lil, what the heck? What happened?”
“You should be telling me what happened? You were away for about a week now. Your café guy came to drop you. Said his name is Paul and you had a bad accident.”
“Yeah, I was attacked by some wild dogs.”
“You look fine to me. Just tell me the truth… are you dating that Spanish guy?” Lilly wanted to know what exactly happened. “No Lil, I am not dating him and he is not Spanish. He took care of me when I was hospitalized.” I lied to Lil because whatever happened in past days are so confusing. Even I don’t know what’s happening, I don’t know how to explain things to her. If I say something, she will not understand and maybe start off again with my trauma and possible treatments. “Whatever! I have called you for thousand times and also lodged a missing report. Thank God you are alive. I’ll inform the police, I need to get some grocery as well. You take rest.” She went out immediately.
This is weird. Lilly is usually very bossy, she wouldn’t leave me until and unless I tell her the details of everything that happened while I was away. I am feeling alright, but whatever happened has never happened to me before. I walked towards the restroom to wash my face and suddenly heard WOOF WOOF WOOF!!! It’s Pepper. He is looking at me, going round and round and jumping. I was so delighted to see him.
“Hey little Buddy! Where did you come from? I wasn’t expecting you here.”
“He wouldn’t stop crying, unless I got him here.” A very familiar voice startled me. I turned back. Its him. Abraam. I didn’t know how to react. My mouth was dry. He is as dashing as he was last time I saw him. Every time I look into his eyes, my world goes upside down. Who is he and why am I so drawn to him. I wonder. I was deep inside his eyes and snapped out of my thoughts by Pepper when he jumped on me. Suddenly I remembered that he is inside my room.
“How did you get in. Lil locked the door while leaving.” I turned towards him. He was intently looking into my eyes, as if trying to find himself in my eyes.
“The door wasn’t locked.” His voice was deep. He came towards me and tucked my hair behind my ears. “You look beautiful as always.” This guy is clearly fliting with me! “I look even more beautiful when I punch the s**t out of stalkers. Wanna see?” He took a step back and stared at me. Clearly he wasn’t expecting that answer but he had a broad smile on his face.
“I’ll see you around, Luna” He left with that grin on his face. I knew why he was smiling. I should have chosen a different phrase. He still remembers our first meeting. Clearly ten thousand years apart hasn’t faded any memories he had with me. I remember everything, but I don’t understand what should I do?
Elizabeth was a very powerful witch. When Abraam introduced me as a friend, I never knew they had a history together and least did we both know that she was a witch. A very powerful witch. The day I met her, she was very much interested in befriending me and knowing everything about the Moon Goddess and how to claim her throne. I was suspicious about her the very same day. To test her intentions, I told her about the holy grail water that should be found before the Blue Moon. I told her that the water of Holy Grail makes a person powerful enough to claim the throne of Moon Goddess which comes with intense powers and responsibilities. The one who claims the throne will be blessed with the powers of Sun and Moon which includes resurrection and immortality. The person holding this power will be nothing less than God himself. But I made sure to keep her away from the dangers that might be caused if one tries to take the holy grail. Elizabeth was excited to get all the information and very naïve as well because she thought that such powerful thing would be kept without any guard. I told her the exact location where the grail was secured. I only wanted to find out if her intentions were good or not as my gut feeling was always true about people. Abraam trusts her a lot, for him she is an orphan human who was lost in the woods and she saved his Omega’s life who was trapped by a hunter. Abraam is very logical. He listens to everyone but does what he feels is right. Abraam loves me and respects me but he wouldn’t appreciate me alleging his comrades. My plan worked well and Elizabeth indeed set out to seek the holy grail, the burn marks on her hands and body next day, clearly told me that she was here with an ulterior motive. She knew that I tricked her into a trap to understand her intentions.
The doorbell range and I was snapped out of my thoughts. Pepper was fast asleep on my bed. I opened the door and Shoba barged in. “Welcome back, Luna!”
