Revenge of the fallen

The sky was dark and there was a strange silence. I was in a room with black curtains and there were strange carvings on the wall. My vision was blurry and I was having a hard time trying to understand what's happening. Suddenly I heard her scream, I ran towards her as if she was very important, I couldn't stop myself from reaching her as soon as possible, she needed me and even the thought of she being in trouble shook me to the core! I saw her covered with blood, I couldn't see her face, it was blurred but I knew saving her was the only mission of my life. I tried to reach her when suddenly someone hit me from behind. The blurry image turned into a wavy silver light and dimmed slowly. There was a high pitched buzz in my ears and lightening pain as if splitting my skull apart! I could hear a distant feminine voice..... "Neyah! Wake up!!! What's happening to you? Please don't die!! WAKE UP!" I opened my eyes with great difficulty, the pain was still there as if someone hit me with an iron rod. It took a while to be back to my senses. I saw Lilly standing right on my face, scared and worried. "Get off my face Lil, don't ruin my morning with your scary expressions." Lilly was relieved to get a normal response, I could see it. "You thankless b***h, I thought you were going to die! Your sleep disorder or dream disorder whatever it is, it's getting scary day by day. You say stuff and react as if someone is strangling you... Like sucking the life out of you!"  " Don't be dramatic! It's just a normal dream"  "Neyah, even you know that isn't true! Normal dream doesn't scare you, look at you! You're sweating like a pig you were screaming something... I couldn't understand your mumbling, it seems like you were speaking some other language! You were terrified while mumbling those words." I wasn't sure how to react, I was having a hard time trying to convince Lilly that everything is normal and it was just a normal nightmare. There was something about my dreams they always scared me to the extend where I fail to differentiate if it is really a dream or am I living in some alternate reality. "I think you should meet a psychiatrist, maybe they will help you with your sleep disorder", Lilly said. "Yeah! We both know what happened the last time we tried meeting one. She was almost successful in convincing me that I am going crazy. Look Lil, I understand you are worried about me and I get that. But I am not crazy Lil. These dreams I have always end up the same way with some girl dying but I don't know who she is." I tried to explain. "Maybe this is because of the trauma you had in your childhood, as the doc-" I didn't allow her to finish. "Enough Lil! What happened in my childhood was just an accident and I truly don't have any 'trauma' about thya incident. I am fine with it and I got over it long back! I started getting these dreams when I turned eighteen last year and this has nothing to do with my past. " Lilly was looking at me as if trying to understand something. "I have to go, I'll see you in the evening." I rushed towards the washroom and banged the door behind.
