Shoba took a deep breath. "My lord! I will never forget that night. Elizabeth was furious, when she came to us, we mistook her to be a normal human. She played with us to eliminate the Luna to claim the throne of moon Godess. The throne of moon Godess comes with immense power and responsibilities. Elizabeth had her malicious intentions which our Luna was well aware. But I don't understand what does that have to do with Dolcenea's 17th birthday?"

I wasn't surprised with her question. The least they know, the better for them. But now is the right time to give them the information which is important. "Shoba, Paulo, after the unfortunate incident, I wandered for several years trying to find out more information about Crescent Coven. My journey halted in a small village in Romania. Crescent coven was the most ancient and powerful coven at one time. They were known to siphen their energy from the Sun which gave them ultimate powers of resurrection. But magic is always two ways. It gives you something and in return it takes something from you. Resurrection was against the law of nature. The dead is supposed to stay dead for obvious reasons. Though the coven had uncovered the secrets of resurrection using the power of Sun, ritual came with a price, the price of life. From the coven I understood that Elizabeth was an outcast. Elizabeth was an ambitious witch. She craved for the power and wanted to find a way to resurrect the dead without sacrificing anyone's life. But her quest which started as a noble quest soon turned into a thirst for more power. She figured out that along with the power of Sun, if she had the throne of moon Godess, she will be invincible. She made her coven believe that she had figured out a way to resurrect without sacrifices, her coven believed her and gave her all the power and support in claiming the throne of moon Godess. That's what brought her to our pack because Dolcenea was the only living wolf with a royal bloodline."

Shoba and Paulo looked at me with great surprise.

"The coven elders gave me some more information which is my concern right now. It's regarding the curse. Dolcenea must have her awakening at her 17th birthday. The witch will also be reborn with Dolcenea with a new face and new identity. If the witch gets hold of Dolcenea before her awakening, the witch will have an upper hand. She will not let Dolcenea awaken her inner powers. Elizabeth was smart, she conceleythe curse in such a way that if anyone forces the awakening..........."

Pepper was going mad when he barged in and started barking wildly. I immediyknew Dolcenea was in trouble. I ran behind pepper, he lead me to our old chamber where I used to stay with Dolcenea. Shoba and Paulo followed me. 

I saw her lying on the floor unconscious. It broke my heart to see her again on the same floor after thousands of years! I took her in my arms to my room. Her eyes were swollen as if she cried a lot. "What happened!?" I screamed. Bella came running and stood apologetically. "Sorry My lord!".

"She will not stay here anymore. Take her to her place Immediately. The more she stays here, the more we will be forcing her awakening."

"But my lord,.." Shoba tried to say something but I stopped her. "No! I don't care about the throne and the prophecy. I only care about her. I will not lose her again even if that means staying away from her. I'll be happy knowing that she is safe somewhere rather than die everyday without her in this world." I could feel warm tears rolling down my cheeks. She is my everything. I will not lose her at any cost. "Take her back to safety now, Paulo and keep a close eye on her. The witch is nearby and she has found Dolcenea before us. Find the witch, if she recalled her past life, she will have a crescent mark on her body. That's our only clue."

Paulo obeyed. I wanted to spend some time with Dolcenea before she left to her normal life at the Moonlight Coffee Shop.
