The Curse

(Abraam's POV)

I have been very restless from the moment I saw her. Three years now and still everytime I see her, she takes my breath away. I am very scared too. Things didn't go well last time and I had to pay a huge price. Ten thousand years waiting for her was the worst torture!!! I wish I hadn't met Elizabeth ever! She was the worst mistake of my life and my Luna had to pay the price. The whole clan is cursed because of my mistake. She is our last hope and salvation. I will not let history repeat itself.

"You look terrible, Alpha!", Paulo and Shoba were staring at me when I was snapped out of my thoughts.

"Thanks for the compliment. Now would you two bother to tell me why and how do you both never cease to surprise me with your failures?" I was blunt.

Paulo as usual with his heads down tried to give me his sorry look.

"I am sorry Alpha, I was just behind her when Shoba called me for help. I wanted to follow her till she safely reached home but Shoba was in trouble and I had to go." Paulo explained.

"For f**k sake, Shoba is not your priority nor your responsibility. You are supposed to protect the Luna. Don't you see all this was planned? You were misguided to reach for Shoba's help while someone tried to kill her! Dolcenea is my life and she is your only hope to protect Silver Claw Clan! When the f**k will you understand that you are assigned with an important duty?" I was fuming... I couldn't help it.

"My lord! I apologise on behalf of my son. Paulo couldn't help but run to help me when he thought I am in danger. Apparently it was a false alarm. We will never take the security of our Luna lightly. Please forgive us." Shoba tried to justify Paulo.

"Shoba, I understand and any son would do the same.... But right now no one is more important than her. I am really worried about how things are turning out now."

Shoba and Paulo looked at each other, surprised. "Sorry Alpha, what is bothering you so much? I know it's not just the attack'. You've been like this since past two years. What's the matter?" Paulo was curious.

Yes, I have been like this since Dolcenea's 17th birthday. "Shoba, do you remember the curse, you were there when it all happened." I turned to Shoba.

"Every single word of it. I can never forget that day My lord. We didn't know Elizabeth was a witch until the day of our Luna's fall." Shoba's face was full of pain.

"Then you might as well remember that while we burnt the bloody witch she casted her final curse."

"Yes, My lord! She cursed that the whole Silver Claw pack. I still remember that dark night!" Shoba looked terrified as well as depressed, I knew she was recalling the darkest night of our lives!

Flashback

"Burn, Burn, Burn......" the angry pack of wolves were ready to devour the beautiful young lady tied to the old oak tree. She wore a white gown, halter neck and had a beautiful black hair. She was not terrified but rather vengeful. Sparks of fire in her eyes and the wickedest smile on her face was screaming that she ain't a victim. The full moon was shining bright when the majestic beast, the Alpha of silver clan, Abraam arrived. He was angry as never before, the huge wolf with a divine silver claw. The only clan immune to silver by the grace and power of our Moon Godess. His eyes were red and watery. Everyone bowed down to him as he decreed to set the witch on fire. Elizabeth, did not flinch. She was prepared. When Paulo lit the oak tree on fire, she uttered her last words only to bestow the worst curse on the whole clan. 

"I, Elizabeth Andrea Gilbert, the queen of Crescent Coven by the power of my Coven, from my ancestors to my last generation till ten thousand years from now, draw the power and curse Silver Claw Pack to never be able to unite with their mate. My pain and agony will fulfill its destiny when I will be reborn with the Luna of Silver Claw and regain my power and throne of the Moon Godess. I curse silver claw pack to lose all the divine powers of the Moon Godess until the Luna returns with full awakening. Abraam, I will bring you on your knees before me. I will claim the throne of Moon Godess and rule over every immortal being under the protection of Moon Godess and your Luna won't be able to stop me even after ten thousand years. I will be prepared!"
