Advik laughed. His Mishu had indeed become a tigress. She was like that in the college, too, straight but immature. He knew how to tame her.
He picked his coffee and said, "So what if I want to do that?"
"Why are you doing this? If it was just for that slap, then I will apologize to you for that. I was really worried about Di at that time, and I am really sorry, okay, but you do not have to do that with my family. You have already done something unforgettable for my family, and now you want to ruin my Father's hard work. I will not let this happen." Mishika asked in frustration. She was very furious at Advik at that time that all; she wanted was to slap him harder on his face.
Advik looked at her angry face with a small smile which Mishika overlooked. He calmly said, "Alright. I will not do that, but I have a condition."
"What condition? Tell me," Mishika looked at Advik and asked in confusion.
Advik got up from his chair and went to his table from where he picked a folder, which contained some documents. He sat down in front of her and said, "Open the documents and read them."
When she saw what was inside, her eyes became wide, and a bead of sweat appeared on her forehead. She turned a few more pages then closed the folder with a snap. Her face turned red with fury, and she said, "What is this nonsense, Advik?"
"This is no-nonsense. If you agree to all the terms that are present in that document, I will stop troubling your Father's company," he replied coolly.
"Do you even know what you are saying? Do you know what will my Father and my sister will do to you if they get to know about it?" she snapped.
"Of course, I do, Miss Mishika Malhotra, and that is one of the reasons why I am even offering you this proposal. I want them to know about it," he replied as his lips curved.
"I will never accept this stupid stuff," she said, thumping her hand on the table.
"Your wish," he said with a shrug. "Because if you won't, then you will lose your only chance to save your father's company and your family."
Mishika was irritated beyond words. She had come here to talk to him, feeling that everything would be resolved and she could save her Father's company and her family. But when she saw the proposal in front of her, her confidence was deflated like a balloon that had been pricked with a needle.
She collected her purse and said, "This is utter nonsense, Advik! You have crossed your limits. Do you think that I will accept these terms and conditions? You must be out of your mind. I will never marry you,"
"What if I don't want to marry you?" Mishika stopped from going outside and asked for the last time, thinking if there was another option to resolve this issue.
"Oh, Okay, Then let's discuss what I am going to do with your father's company, Why don't you sir down and I will tell you slowly," Advik said.
Mishika came to her seat and sat down. Advik looked at her and stood up from his seat, and said, "Now let me tell you what I will do."
"Right now, I am snatching your Father's company projects, and after some time, I will become a major shareholder in your company, and then I will sell the shares little by little, which will be bought by my people only, of course. But I will sell them at a very low price, like really low. Because of this, the face value of them falls along with real value, and the value of your company will reduce, which will reduce the profits eventually. Then I will sell the company, and do you know what will happen?" He asked, walking around Mishika.
"By that time, that time I won't be the majority shareholder as I will spread them very little among everyone. When I dissolve the company at that time, then the creditors and all the other debts along with bank loans need to be paid. Most of which is actually done by major shareholders. By that time, the major shareholders will be none other than your Father and your precious sister." He said, and then it struck her. He is trying to destroy her family.
She remembered that the three had 30% shares belonged to them. Trisha had 10%, Mr. Malhotra had 15%, while Mishika had 5%. However, She was thinking that they had some other way, and they would be able to pay somehow. They all have savings, which can be utilized for sure.
"Oh, it does not affect you that much? Impressive, then I have plan B," Advik said with a smirk.
"Everything will happen in the same way until I dissolve think except one thing, and that is, I will not dissolve it before spreading them. I will take the important files of the company with me, which will be my right after becoming the major share holder, and I can do that. Then in one day, the shares will be spread all over, and then there will be fraud happening with the use of those files. Doing fraud is a very bad thing, okay. Because if we do that, then all the share holders fall on the owners. Then those owners will be sent to jail, You see. Who will be the owner at that time?" Advik said, looking at Mishika with an evil glint on his face as he stood in front of her.
Mishika's face went pale hearing that.
"You can not do that," Mishika suddenly said, glaring at Advik.
"And why not? I have already told you about my condition. Now it's up to you." Advik looked at her with a cold expression. He continued, "Take it or leave it. If you will accept it, I will consider; however, if you reject it, I won't come back to you again, and this document will be fed to the shredder."
Mishika had started rising from her seat when he said that. She sat back down and looked at him as if he was some lunatic. Her eyes began to well up, her voice cracked, "Advik, what you are asking doing this. You were not like this in the past?
Advik saw her tears which pricked his heart, he so wanted to wipe her tears, but he controlled himself and leaned forward until their faces were just a few inches away from each other and said, "This is the only way I will consider it. And this is the last time I am telling you." There was so much ruthlessness in his gaze that Mishika shuddered a little. If this was true, then this was the only chance she had. She felt so pressurized and stifled that in a moment of impulsiveness, she said, "Where do I have to sign?"
Advik smiled and opened the pages of the marriage contract.
