The next day, Mishika woke up early and got ready. She went down To have breakfast. She sat down on the chair she had to sit on.
The housekeeps immediately asked the maids to bring her breakfast.
After having her breakfast she picked her purse and went out of the house to the garage.
The driver who was waiting for her at the gate quickly opened the car door for her to enter.
She sat in the car and said, "Take me to the A&A Groups."
Soon they arrived at the office in half an hour, and Mishika entered the building. She walked across the marble floor as she looked around.
The décor was stylish, and the girls around the office looked intelligent and confident. Some of them had dressed in tight clothes showing off their curves.
She walked to the reception and said, "Can I see Mr. Advik Ahuja please?"
The receptionist looked at her with an amused look in her eyes and said, "I am sorry Miss, but you just go and meet the CEO like that. Do you have an appointment?"
"Actually, I do not have an appointment. My name is Mishika Malhotra. If you will tell him that I am here, I am sure he will call me to his office." Mishika said to the receptionist because she was a little confident that if Advik knew that she was here to meet him, then he would not deny it.
The receptionist measured her from top to bottom and said, "Miss there are many fine young ladies who would want to meet our rich and handsome boss, but I am sorry this is not the way to meet him. Unless you have an appointment, you cannot meet him."
Exasperated, she turned around. She thought that she would meet him in the evening today. She started walking out when she saw some commotion a few meters away from her.
She focused on the cynosure of the storm and saw that Advik was standing right there looking at her.
His aura was so cold that she gulped. She had come to meet him, but now she wanted to run away. Towering above most men, he shined amongst them. His handsome features were making both men and women swoon at him. Girls vied for his attention while men stood there around him like a bee. Brown eyes with slightly brown hair, he was standing out amongst all. The girls looked at him with baited breath.
It was very difficult to get hold of a person like Advik and he rarely ever showed himself during that time of the day in the reception area. Still, at that moment, they were all not only surprised but awed by his charismatic presence.
Mishika stood there staring at him. He was there, yet to be seen and not to be touched. She saw that he was walking towards her.
The receptionist who had rebuked Mishika ran out of her place and went in front of her. She was scared that she would get a scolding for letting an intruder into the company. "Good morning, sir. It's such a pleasant surprise to see you here," she said, a little scared and charmed by him at the same time.
Advik looked at Mishika and said, "Miss Malhotra, please come to my office."
Mishika was wearing a pale yellow silk dress with matching wedges. Her thick, long hair was cascading behind her. Some of the strands had come on her face, and she didn't bother to remove them. Her petite face was held over a long, slender neck, which was so beautiful and flawless that men were having a hard time not looking at it. Her phoenix-shaped eyes fluttered as she looked around nervously at the staff who were looking at the person whom the CEO had personally called to the office. She looked aristocratic. While the men were going gaga over her, the female workers were very jealous. They had worked for so long in the office, but the CEO never looked at them. He had been extremely cold with all of them.
Advik looked at Mishika and then turned to walk towards the elevator. His PA followed him. They went up to the twentieth floor, where his office was located.
Mishika looked around the office. She was still confused about one thing, and it was that how did he know that she would be coming to the office. She shrugged the thought and thought, how does it matter? At least she could be able to meet him and could also talk to him about which she was there.
Advik led her to his office. He pointed to the plush sofa that was kept in the corner of the room over the carpeted area and asked her to sit.
She sat down over there while he asked his PA to get coffee and snacks for the visitor.
"I was expecting you to come, but I did not know that you would come so soon," said Advik said with a smirk on his handsome face which made him more attractive.
"I don't want to wrap my words in honey and tell you, but I will be straight in this. I haven't come here to make friends with you. I want to know why you are targetting my father's company. You are deliberately doing it. are you taking any kind of revenge or what? Why are you doing this? Did you still not setisfied after ruining my family years ago?" said Mishika in one breath.
She didn't know how to beat around the bush. She had thought that she would talk very politely and tactfully to him, but the moment she saw his face, all that was tossed out of the window.
Advik narrowed his eyes and smirked at her.
Advik's PA had by then opened the door of the office and brought the coffee and biscuits for them. Both of them fell silent when she arrived and waited for him to go. He placed the coffee on the table and asked, "CEO would you like anything else?"
Advik gave him a cold stare. "You can leave," he said curtly.
Once the PA left the office, Advik turned his attention to Mishika and said, "Did you forget what I have said to you when you slapped me that day?"
Looking at Mishika's confused face, he continued," I said that I will remember the gift you have given me, and now I am returning the gift back to you with interest."
"Advik do you have to go to this lengh just because of a slap?" Mishika was so angry after hearing his reason for doing that.
Advik laughed. His Mishu had indeed become a tigress. She was like that in the college, too, straight but immature. He knew how to tame her.
He picked his coffee and said, "So what if I want to do that?"
