Can We Be Together Again?

Chapter Eight

It's has been almost a month for Trisha to admit to the hospital, and she was still in the hospital because of her condition. Mishika can not take her home because sometimes Trisha's condition could get worse because of the cravings for drugs.

Mishika did not tell he father about Trisha's condition as he was busy with work, and she did not want to make her father worry about her sister's condition. These days Trisha's condition was not that much good. She was craving for the drugs, but Mishika somehow managed her, and now she was a bit calm.

Here Mishika was worried about her sister's condition, and on the other side, her father's company was facing a huge problem at this time because Advik started his plan right now, and he was doing all the thing he could to get Mishika with him. If this goes like that, then soon Mishika's father's company would go bankrupt, but Mishika was still not aware of all of this because her father never shared any company's matters with her. Either her father handles the matters or her sister. They both thought of her as a little girl who is still so naive and does not know how to handle this type of problem, so they did not want to worry her too much because of the company's problem.

Mishika came back home from the hospital because she was informed that her father was at home right now, so she was thinking of talking about Trisha's harassment case with her father so that the criminal gets the punishment he deserved.

"Miss is back." The housekeeper asked when she saw Mishika come inside.

"Well, where's my dad?" Mishika asked as she entered the mansion.

"Sir is upstairs in the study," The housekeeper answered.

"Okay, got it." After asking, she went upstairs to the study room to look for her father.

When she came to the study and was about to knock on the door, a voice interrupted him.

"Chairman, our Company is losing a lot of money this month, and the big project in which we have invested is also taken by the other company. And it is not that all, but there are many partners who want to cancel their collaboration with us. Many of our projects also taken by the other Company and we are facing a huge loss." After hearing Secretary's words, Mr. Malhotra looked at the densely packed documents in front of him and frowned.

He said angrily, "How could this happen? Didn't I tell you to find the solution and talked with them? How did you do things? Are you complaining that the salary is too high?"

"We've already tried to find out what is going on, but look." The Secretary took out another document from his bag.

He placed it on the table. "The chairman this is A&A Groups, and this is the Company who is bidded for the same projects as us and they are somehow also able to grab a hold on all the projects in which we are trying to invest."

Hearing this, Mr. Malhotra said angrily, "outrageous! Is there no one else? Do we have no other option?"

Secretary boldly explained, "A&A Groups is a dark horse that has recently emerged in the industry and won many awards. The Ceo of the Company is very talented and also won the best businessman award. I think he is targeting our company."

Mr. Malhotra fell into deep thought after hearing this.

"So, someone is targetting our company, and because of this, Dad is under so much stress right now. But, who could it be? and why did he want to target our company. A&A Groups?" Mishika thought to herself when she heard the conversation between her father and the Secretary. She was already very worried because of her sisters' condition, and now she heard the company which her father painstinkly built was targeted by someone. She was under so much stress.

Knock, knock

Mishika knocked on the door.

Mr. Malhotra said, "please come in."

"Dad, Can I talk to you for a moment." Mishika's said as soon as she entered the study room.

"What is it, Mishi? Can we talk some other time if it is not that important? I am really busy right now," Mr. Malhotra asked.

"Okay, Dad," Mishika said and closed the door again, and went back to her room. She sat on the bed and started to think about what she had heard in the study room.

She took out her phone and searched for the details about A&A Groups, and the result she got was very shocking for her because the result was shocking that the CEO of that company was none other than Advik Ahuja with his picture while receiving the best businessman award. She was feeling happy and sad at the same time and as well as angry. Happy because Advik achieved what he always wanted to and was very successful right now, and sad because she was not with him to share his happiness and angry because she had never thought that Advik would do something like that with her father's company.

She did not know why he was doing all that, and her hate for him started to grow more. She thought for some time and decided to talk with him face to face because Trisha's case trial was also next month and Advik was the main witness, so his statement matters a lot, and she wanted to talk with him about it.

She would not let Advik do this with her father's company. She would fight tooth and nail to stop him from harming her family members. She slept late at night thinking about her plans and, in the end, decided to meet him face to face in the office.

"You have already harmed my family before Advik, and I will not let you do it again. When did you become like that Advik? You were not like that in your college days, so how? I will not let you win Advik Ahuja," Mishika thought and wiped the tears which were unknowingly falling from her eyes.
