***Chapter 8: The Unknown Long-Lost Friend***

"Alli, I thought, you will go back at the end of the month?" Asked Mom. "The flight for the end of the month got canceled, so we reserved the ticket yesterday's," Answered Allistair beside me. "Hows, Matilda and Thomas?" Asked Mom again. "They're fine and they can't come here since they had an urgent business," Answered Allistair again.

"Mind asking, Alli, what university did you enroll here and what course are you applying?" Dad's turn to ask. "The uni I picked was Saint Luke College, they said it was superb there, and it is prestigious, since I want to be like Mom, I picked medical," Answered Alli. "Same as Sia, I'll tell my friend to have the same schedule as hers, you two are really destined," Mom said as the other four guests smiled at my friend.

It's been two weeks since Alli came back home, still, I didn't see him around here, and those three jerks, still think we are close, we were just neighbours; I treat my neighbours as strangers except Alli's family. "Hey, what are you thinking?" Ashanti asked. We are in the library, making the report they assigned for the two of us. We make the presentation, I will re-search, and she will present. "Nothing, just what song I will perform next week." My phone vibrated and saw Alli's text.

'Hey, where are you?'

I replied and put it on the table. "I suggest Night Changes by One Direction, it matches you perfectly," She said. "Hey, Sai, I'm here," I heard someone, I smiled as I knew who he is. "Alli, welcome to the University, please meet my friend, Ashanti,"

"Hi, I'm Ashanti, Sia's friend," She said and Alli smiled. "Allistair, Sai's long best-friend." They shook hands as I searched some informations for our report. They chit-chat about each other and about how they met me and other memories. "Did you know sometimes I found her cool?" Alli said that made the memory that I don't want to remember.

"Let's start!"

My rival was the most undefeatable next to Giant John, Undefeatable Jerry. He positioned himself to fight; he was about to attack until he saw me smiled, a sinister smile. My bloodlust flows again in my veins I need to use my sure-fire.

I walked to him as I put up my knife, as I was almost in front of him and I dropped my knife, as soon he calm, he thought I am giving up, then as soon as he was about to blow, I ducked and took out the taser and swung it to him so he can have a shock, startled by it, he will stumble and I will be in front of him, tapping his chin with the taser and tilted his head upwards to look at me. "Please, I'm begging you, don't smile at me, please, it will haunt me in my dreams til I die!" He cried.

I smiled at him sweetly that made his eyes wide. "Sire, thank you for playing with me." Then I shocked his stomach. "K.O." I whispered.

"Woah she's so cool," Ashanti said with her eyes shining while listening to every word Alli releases. "It's not, I almost killed a person, you know," I said while staring at them. "While we kidn*pped, I needed to use assassination as my talent to survive, I should almost killed someone to survive, if not, there will be no Zosia Saoirse Amorie Yamamoto anymore," I said as I picked up my 'Sherlock Holmes Vol. I.'

"Right..." Ashanti said. "Hey Crystal, come on." I saw Keifer as Ashanti stood up. "Alli, this is Keifer, Keifer, Alli," Ashanti introduced.  "Keifer, Ashanti's suitor," They shake hands and soon the two left. "You're still the old kind Sai, what club are you in?" He asked, he resting his cheek in his palm. "Volleyball and Music," I answered. That reminds me, we have practice today. Looking at my watch, it's 4:30, I quickly gather my things and rush to the door. "Where are you going?" Asked Alli. "I'm late," I answered. "I want to come," He said.

Opening my locker, getting my shorts and white shirt, changing in a cubicle, I walked out of the ladies' room, and shocked seeing Allistair in front of me. "You scared me," I said as I held my chest and soon go back to my locker to get my jacket and things.

"Sorry I'm late," I said and saw no one was there except Coach Lee. "Oh, Zosia, you're early," He said. "For an hour," He added. I then calmed down and sit down at the side court. "So, an hour early," Alli said beside me. "Al, aren't you disgusted by me?" I asked out of nowhere. "What disgusted?" He asked back. "Allistair, I almost killed three persons, three, my foes and their boss, I thought you're disgusted or even hate me, I'm a medical student and I almost killed three persons," I said seriously. "Sai, I almost killed a person also, you were sleeping when I was in the ring, the third undefeatable, I used one of my skills and the sure-fire you made, and we promised each other, we will by each other's side forever," He said not looking at me, eyes everywhere, beads of sweat in his forehead and also pulse increased by his breathing, lying.

"I wanna watch you play here, are you regular as before? Your position?" He asked. "Not, I asked not to be a regular since I don't want someone idolizing me, it is a pain in the a*s, and still an opposite," I said as I saw my teammates walking inside. "You're all early," said Coach again. "I need to go wait for me or watch us," I said before running to my teammates.

"Today's the day of our weekly measuring, so we will go to the basketball court before we will have a practice," He instructed. We all gathered and walked to the door as Allistair following.

"Wanna bet again?" Asked Elisse, and we all nodded. "The shortest will pay for tomorrow's lunch," Xyla said as we all nodded. "What are you measuring?" Asked Allistair beside me that made my friends flinched. "Our blocks," I answered as I look at my friends. "Who's that, your boyfriend?" Asked Vas. "My boy best friend, Allistair," I answered and they introduce each other. We walked in the court and saw the varsity playing.

*Nice dunk!*

"Coach Gerald, can we borrow a field goal?" Asked coach as the other one nodded. The players make way for us as we lined up, I can feel someone is pinning their eyes on me and I looked at them and it was the three jerks. I can see that Alli is also with them, talking other and dribbling some ball and shoot it. Looking away and lined up next to Vas and Elisse. "three hundred and five!" I heard our manager yelled.

Xyla was next up and put some wax in her fingers, when the whistle blown she jumped high and put wax in the field goal. "Three hundred and twenty-nine," The manager announced. "What?!" She exclaimed, and we just laughed at her.

Next Vis, putting on some wax and jumped when she heard the whistle. "Three hundred and thirty-three!" Announced by our manager. "Expect more from the middle blocker," She said. "Next,"

Vas said and jumped. "Three hundred and thirty-three," Announced again, and the twins high five each other.

"My turn," I said as I jumped. "Three hundred and forty," Announced. "Winner," I said, and next Elisse, then Cyril and Jane. "Tallest, Zosia for three hundred and forty," Announced by the coach. "Let's thank the varsity again and go,"

We bowed to the varsity and say thanks and soon got back to the volleyball court. "Zosia, what's your relationship with The Unknown Service, they were pinning their eyes on you?" Cyril asked. "Less than a stranger," I answered with no hesitation. "Harsh," I heard Jane and Xyla. "It's not harsh, it's true, truth is harsher than words," I stated.

"Oh, who's he?" Asked Elisse referring to Alli. "Allistair, a friend of mine," I introduce that made him frown. "We were friends for thirteen years, you forgot our anniversary last month, when I called you, a maid said you were asleep," He said frowning even more. "Cause I thought you were coming back at the end of the month and we will have a date when you will come back and celebrate, and I reviewed that time," I said back.

"How's Alli in the uni?" Asked Caius beside me in the living room. "He's fine, and also a pain in the a*s," I answered. "And still guilty?" He asked. "Yes, I still am, but I know he lied when he confessed that he almost killed a person also, I don't know if he lied or he is uncomfortable when he confessed that." I then faced my lap, I knew is always comfortable with me, but that time, he changed, he lied so I will not feel bad when I see him, and I think I made him uncomfortable.
