“Hey, do you have anything to eat?”
Lilith took off her hat, grabbed an item from inside, and tossed it at her. Amethyst caught it and saw the white ball. She had never seen anything like it before and wondered what it was.
“What’s this?”
“Just eat it.”
Amethyst took a bite, and the taste was dull, but there was something in the middle that gave it a sweet flavor. She ate it all and asked if Lilith had anymore. She shook her head and walked onward without saying a word.
“Thanks. Oh hey, do you remember when we first met, and you said that Lilith wasn’t your name?”
“Yeah?” She glanced at Amethyst.
