Selina slipped the pistol from her holster and checked the magazine. The metal was cold against her skin, but her heart burned hotter than the rising sun. She had found the first name on her list. The traitor who had sold them out. Below, a convoy of black cars rolled into the street. Armed guards stepped out, scanning their surroundings. At the center, a man in a gray suit adjusted his tie, his arrogance clear even from a distance. Selina’s lips curled into a thin, dangerous smile. “The forgotten are rising,” she whispered to herself. “And I’ll make sure they never forget.” With a swift motion, she leapt from the rooftop into the chaos of the waking city.
