Declan Eternality. Every minute, every hour, everyday that goes by feels never ending. I fear more and more over my loss. Yet, I can't just stop fighting. She had wounded me in a way no one else could. She has carved into me so deeply.. I'm spelled to her. My last breath will be my success. I'll have her. She's mine and only f*****g mine. In the course of belonging to the organization, showing face to these so called Balls are meant as respect and a truce. Maybe even more. Shit. My parents fell in love at one of these. It was the start of their story. As it was for many others. But not mine. I have mine, and even if she thinks it's over or that it was a lie. We have ours, still do. My Kara just needed harsh reminding of it, that's all. Dress as well as I could, my father tries to inform me to coax my attention to a new set. He talked of me to act like I truly care about the Barron Mafia because in his eyes I'm not at the moment. I just waved him off. My take on this was her. To see, to touch, breathe in, and slowly take a piece of ours back. I try dodging most conversations, wanting to waltz my view until I find her. I waited until I knew she was here. Talk of the Monroe Mafia coming was high and made many spreads. And it fogged. My wait was no more. I don't know when she got here but she was here for sometime now. I saw the way she carry on a conversation. I watch and once she waved bye, she headed towards a table. Heaven. Taking every step she made, she was dress like an angel. Something she is far, far from. Her strawberry blonde hair wavy down her curves. Her dress.. damn. I can care less of it but all I see is how it hugs her body up to making my d**k twitch in envy. I'm more taken away on the color she chose. Ha. Out of all colors in the world, she chose one that matches my eyes. It's dark but I know she thinks of my blue eyes. Wanting me to see, and yes, baby. I f*****g see you. To the slit of your dress and the need to feel your flesh slit too. She wondered her eyes and I did my best to stay out of it. Watching her search was delightful. Carrying two glasses, I made my way to her slowly. I lay hers down first, saying nothing. She smiled and allowed my warmth ever so close to her. Ah, her f*****g smile. I'm hard again. "What a gentleman, thank you." Taking the seat next to her, her expression quickly change. As if she didn't know it was me. "Oh, you." She breathed. "Yes, me. Were you expecting someone else?" I asked as I sip my glass. "Yes." Lair. "Anyone but you would be perfect right now." I didn't hide my chuckle. Which gave me Kara's classic scowl. "You're mine, Kara. You shouldn't seek others attentions unless.." "Do you plan on losing your sight." She bit in a shouted whisper. Awe, she was adoring, her ferocious glare. "You need a reminder, fine by me. We got our whole life." I lean back, relaxing in my seat. Kara's expression dim. Leaving mine. I let one hand fall to touch her innocently, she lean forward with an arch like she needed it. I tug at the fabric, wanting everyone here to know she belongs to me. To a Barron. Her head dropped to her shoulder, I can see hurt in there. It bleed in me to see it. "Kara.." "Don't think I had it handed to me. That being a Monore Princess was glorious. It was all a must." Her skills are advance, when I read them, I wondered how she got such a high ranking at such an age. She was just as feared as her father. Despite being a woman others think less. "We're all broken down and idolized in eyes of our parents. It's not only being part of the mafia but as the eldest such as ourselves, it's a weigh." She nod. Understanding. My fingers trace the straps on her back, feeling the chill build on her. I brace the need for more, removing my touch woke my erection. There may be some things we kept for the safety of the other. But the stories we told on how we were raise were true. I felt so connected to her for understanding mine. And not once did I thought she had this easy princess one. I knew her father was an ass and being his daughter wasn't easy. I held her in her angers, just as much as the tears brought from it. Shit! I should have know more. That's why we fit so well, why we're soulmates. Without her touch I can see her body tense. The urge to take her in my arms was heavy but she'll slap me for doing it here. "At the age of 5 I was left in woods and battle to find my way home. It happen every weekend. That was just the start of it. One lesson was when he lessened my ability to weaponize myself more. I can still feel the broken bones." My core filled with bile just then. Proud I'd killed the motherfucker for putting her through that. Seeing how she fisted her hand just like they had healed the other day. My jaw clench when my body jerked upright. Keeping my voice low for just us only, I assure her my praise. "Don't forget I know you. All of you. Every scar you ever lied to me about. I know." It was slight, but her eyes change at my words along with the gasp she took before saying, "Doubtful." "Be the woman your younger self needed. Have peace, Kara." That moment she raised her hand and moved it to towards the candle flame before us. My view fixed on her. What the hell was she doing? "Such a sweet story people will say, yet what lies fill the air before enemies who lay in each others beds." Her fingers trace the flame until it sat up top. It warmed her up. "It wasn't lies when it was protection fill with love." I corrected her. She smirked to my reply. "Secrets are lies. It's not an excuse. Don't act heartbroken over the lies." Moving her palm closer down I shifted. "We were never a lie." Never. "We both bleed more inside after the wound we caused another with every parted lip and desirable touch." Closer down. My fist clench. "Kara, stop it." She continued. "I'm f*****g warning you." When she pause I thought she obeyed. But no. Damn stubborn woman muttered, "Falsely." Going deeper I hear the scorching of her skin, she didn't flinch to the assuring pain. It was like she liked it. "If this doesn't hurt, don't think a Barron can." Everything flipped. It took everything in me to not shout, flip the table and throw her over my shoulder to care her wound. All while kissing the hell out of her and taking her away forever. No. Instead I watch her take the dangerous closeness and removing it away. My other hand wash the flame down as I shove her fist in my cold drink. "I told you to stop." My eyes felt dark like her dress now, and so did hers. Yet, her smile was amusing. Devilish like her love. That only lasted a few seconds. Ripping her hand out she sped away from me. I chase her through the crowd without another eye batting to us. Finally stopping her, no words were said. When our eyes calmed down, I part my lips to speak but another's voice intrudes. "Nice to see you two together. I wanted to introduce you both tonight." The host says. He's from a royal mafia family, these parties are just a shows of their fancy crap. "Given your guest list, there's more each time. I didn't think we'll see another." Kara bit. The man laugh. "Ah. I thank the wife for that. As I know you'll do for your soon suitor." Kara's face change. Did she had one in her hand, was it him who was keeping her from me? Either way, I'll kill him. "With a beautiful Monroe as herself, the list is just as long." I said. Making the man laugh even more as he pats my back. Giving us both a look from Kara. "This guy. Oh, Assassin, you must put him on your top 5. He's good one." The man says. "Assassin?" I asked in confusion, the man paused his laugh. Looking between us both. "You don't know? The files, Declan. Oh, this girl is a heathen ass child. I cannot wait to see what she does next." He steps over looking at her. "You're like a legendary myth, dear." Kara seems to not be bothered, however I see in her eyes she's holding emotions back. I tried to dismiss my shock, I read the Assassin file many times even before hers went out. My c**k and heart both tugged. I'm so deeply, cursed in love with this woman. I see the man drinking and can tell he had a few already. I had to get us away from him. So I did what any other man would. "Well, in honor. Will you mind if I sway her away to the dance floor?" The man praise to my offer. "Enjoy you two." Kara tries to bite but I dragged her on and held her until our feet's move to the beat. Taking her in, I naturally molded her body into mine. "Ease up your hold, Barron." I tighten more. "Everyone is staring at us." I lean to her ear. "Good, they should be." Her nails dig in me, "No. Not good. No one but our family knows about.." depressing, I spun her hard her foot lifted off the ground. "This is practice for our wedding, Kara. Let them stare. Or better yet. Just look at me." She did. Oh, so perfectly... mine. "It's only us right now. They're not even here." "This may be the closest we get, Declan. You know that right?" s**t! Just another bullet after another. The woman had good aim. "You feel good in my arms. Stay." I ignore her comment and enjoy. And giving her push she allowed herself to enjoy as well. We ignore every stare that nuzzles to us. I know certain eyes catch us and I didn't give a damn. I have my Kara in my arms right now. We were in collision of both world and I refuse to let it fall. Time flow so slow. And each time she tries to push back I pull her in. One harsh jump shut her mouth in her debut. I had her in my hold in another song. My possession of her brew when an offer came in, "hey, can I have dance-" I gripped the man hard, each one I swung her away. But this one I displayed I wasn't done. "Try to touch her again and my hammer will meet your skull." "Oh, come on, man. As sexy as she is some of us need our share." His cunny answer pissed me off. "I got her attention. All you boys wrap your d**k somewhere else. Now." I warn him. "Fine, man." Even to his surrender, my grip didn't loosen. Not until she praise me, holding my hand that kept him telling me the song still needs our special attention. I say no words as I bring her hips to me. She scowled the whole time. "You need to stop trying." I scoffed. "And that includes breaking into the Monroe's house." Catching her sweet hazels, my chest bubbles out. "Trying. Have you not been getting my puffs?" I know she has. Her never ending wishes were life to me. Kara's grip on my shoulder press with a care. "Stop wasting your time. There's strict orders if you're found on my ground. No romantic gesture can fix this." "You belong to me, I do what I want." Her nails dig in my neck, I felt a drop of bleed. "No more talk." I took full advantage, needing this more than life itself. My hands had no control. I found them up her leg. And one moment she lay her lips at my neck. Causing feral moan from me. It was all too heated yet not a soul but us knew. She never fought back any touch. She urged them. Up her slit, it was warm. Getting closer I felt a metal item. Of course she'll be prepare. Gracing her legs while I twirl her distracted her all too easily. It gave me access to disarm her. I slip it in and not a flinch by her said she knew. My touch had her mind else where and dragging my nose at her sweet spot did it for me. Heaven forbid we continue to have our fantasy, some kind of bullshit seeps its way through, killing it. "Wow, Assassin. I didn't think you had a dress that covers your man marks." The woman says. "At least I have fabric on and not lingerie." The woman wasn't amused. "Man like skills you have." Her eyes fixed to me and I see Kara glaring. "What kind of manipulation did she do to have you dance with her. I heard you're a Barron, isn't just seeing her so awful." The woman said clearly in disgust. I kept my hold on Kara whose body overheating. It was clear to see they hated each other. Envy flows in Kara's eyes. Every word said egged her on. "I doubt the stories are more than stories. You really believe after the years you hide away you can.." she laugh over me. Touching my arm. I moved back and shove her to her feet. "I mean can you still hold up, or was it just talk, Monroe?" "Why don't we find out." The girl nod. Happy to piss Kara off. "Woah wait, Kara." She peeled herself off of me. "Don't, Declan." She sent a hot shiver down my spine. And I knew by her eyes on the woman.. this will not end well.
