Chapter 16It's been a week since Michelle was murdered and I've interviewed everyone who had direct access to her home. I even have a suspect in the frame, but I think Juan Gonzales is unlikely to be her killer. He needed her; more importantly, he needed her alive. Particularly if he wanted to retrieve the money she'd stolen from him. I now don't believe that this attack was about money. Somebody had a grudge against Michelle. They wanted her to die in torment and there's a good chance they hung around long enough for her to see who locked her in. Once again this places her husband or her lover at the top of my list.
