Chapter 17I don't stir until late morning on Sunday, and when I do move myself, I find my whole mouth is like sandpaper and it's difficult to unglue my tongue from the roof of it. My body feels heavy and tired, but my spirits are uplifted. Yesterday was such a good day. As well as enjoying myself immensely at the feria, I have the added bonus of knowing Patricia and Sarah virtually sold out of all the stock. In fact, there were so few items left that we could carry them between us to Sarah's car and bring them home in the boot. Consequently, there was no requirement for Maurice and his van, and even better, Patricia will not need to man her stalls today.
