Diana POV (Formerly known as Lily): I’m back at home dining with rage after what I had just found out, I threw my bag to the bed when it accidentally hit the remote, that’s when I see her, right in front of me, on the big screen. “Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a guest with us today, I want you all to give a special applause to Mrs Rebecca Gaston Gomez” the host announced. Rebecca was on a Tv show. “Thank you for having me Coast” Rebecca replied with a smile. “Ever since your wedding last year which has been the talk of the town, what exactly fo you enjoy about your marriage?” The hose asked. “Everything, I love the morning when I wake up and he is there by my side, I love the night when he kisses me goodnight, the calls we have when he is at work, I basically love everything about being married to my husband. He is the best thing that has happened to me” she replied sweetly. The smile on her face couldn’t fade, it kept widening at every moment. “That’s just wonderful, I love to see couples in love” “I would have brought him here with me but he is just so busy with work lately” “Awwwn, thats so sad, it would have been nice to have him here too” the host stated. She grabbed one the cards and switched it then returned her gaze to Rebecca. “So tell me, how did you two meet?” “Well, we have known each other since high school” “Like highschool sweethearts, I love high school sweethearts” “Well you can say that” Rebecca replied, but we both know that they weren’t high school seeetheart. It was all just a lie to make her marriage seem like it was a fairytale, like they were destined to be with each other. “We have been together for a long while now, I remember the times that he used to buy me flowers, you know he first asked me to be his girlfriend in highschool, it was big proposal at that time. I remember being so shocked about it that I didn’t know what to say” she lied right off her teeth. Gaston never asked her to his Girlfriend in high school, I was the one he asked, I remember he led me to the gym hall with a whole proposal waiting for me. I cried tears of joy that day as I accepted his proposal, now the b***h was claiming it was her. How pathetic could she be. “He used to buy me flowers and gifts, it was all so lovely, I mean who wouldn’t fall in love with a man like that, I was always scared that someone might snatch him away from him. But he proved his loyalty and married me and now the rest is history” she narrated. I couldn’t help but laugh, it’s the last thing I thought I would ever do, but she was so much of a joker that I couldn’t help it. “Let talk about the honeymoon? Is there anything we should be expecting?” “Right now we are navigating through our lives, we don’t want to rush and make hasty decisions” she shrugged with a smile. “I see” She chuckled placing her hand over her mouth, showing off the huge diamond ring on her hand, I immediately recognized it, it was the same ring I had picked out at the store, when I went with her. The b***h stole my ring. “Is that… your ring?” The host finally noticed her attempt to show off, “Oh my goodness, it’s so beautiful” she added. “Thank you, my husband specifically picked it for me” “He sure has good taste” the host praised him. I could only scoff, Good taste, after the shabby engagement he bought, I knew I had to step up and choose the wedding rings myself. Now he was getting praise for a choice that I made. “He does, he told me that he thought of me the moment he saw it” she giggled. “It’s lovely. Well the call lines will now be open and you can talk to some of your fans who are dying to hear your voice. Let’s see who our first caller will be?” The host announced. The number was displayed on the screen and immediately I grabbed the hotel phone. I wanted to see her calm demeanor crumbled and show every one watching that she was just a lie. The phone began ringing, “Oh look, we have our first caller” the host said as the phone was brought closer, she put it on speaker. “Hello, this Celebrity daily, and who are we speaking with?” She asked. “Hello, my name is Natasha” I toyed with my voice by putting my hand on my nose. “Hello Natasha, how do you do?” Rebecca asked. Hearing her speak to me made the hair on my body rise. “First of all, o will like to congratulate you on your wedding, it’s not everyday you get married to the man of your dreams, or I mean snatch the man of your dreams” I laughed. I could the awkward look on her face. “I wanted to ask Rebecca, how about your friend Lily?” At the mention of Lily, I saw her whole body tense up, her hands shaking but she hid it behind the chair. “I heard she was the one engaged to your husband until she suddenly disappeared and you married him. Do you know what happened to her?” I inquired. Her eyes bulged, she didn’t expect that anyone to would know about that, much worse even bring it up on national tv, it shook her up so much that she couldn’t utter a single word. The smile on her face was wiped clean and it was filled with fear. The host turned to her and realize that things were going south. She quickly ended the call. “We will go on a commercial break” she announced and they went off. After a minute of break, they were back but Rebecca was gone. She must have been shaken off by my words, this is only just the beginning.
