Diana POV (Formerly known as Lily): I waited until 10am when Gaston usually made his entrance into the company, it was an habit of his. Once I saw his car drive past the front, I rushed to the receptionist. Luckily for me, There was an opening for the position of the secretary, the final interview had ended yesterday, but that didn’t matter to me, I was going to get the job regardless. “Excuse me, when is the interview starting? I have been waiting for an hour” I asked the blonde receptionist. She looked at me confused, wondering why I would come for the interview when it ended already. “I’m the first” I said smiling at her. She slowly shook her head, an awkward situation where she would have to tell me the sad news. “You missed it” she said. I looked bewildered, “What?” “It was yesterday” she added. “No” I shook my head, “this can’t be happening” I pleaded with tears in my eyes. Just in time, Gaston began walking in with his team, I knew now was my time to get his attention, so I raise my voice a little higher. “Please, help me. I really need this job, I would do anything. Please” I pleaded almost going down on my knees, the poor girl rushed to me trying to stop me from causing a scene. It was already too late. I had caught the attention of Gaston who paused to look at me, “Please” “There is nothing I can do ma’am” she replied. “I will do anything” I sounded desperate, enough for Gaston to take another step. “What’s going on?” He asked the receptionist, I looked down worried that he might recognize me. My hands began sweating. What if he did, what if he knew me at first glance, then all my efforts would go to waste. “Miss” he called to me. I pulled myself together, then unbuttoned a part of my shirt revealing my cleavage. Then slowly lifted my head to him with traces of tears in my eyes, he froze. Just the reaction that I needed, his line of sight moved from my face to my cleavage. He sucked in his lips then blinked, “What seems to be the problem?” He asked. I tucked a strand of my hair to my ears, gave out a little cute sniff, “Well, I came for the interview of the position of the secretary but she just told me that the interview was over yesterday. I really need this job Sir, please help me” I begged almost going down on my knees again. He reached out and grabbed me, “You don’t need to do that dear, just come to my office and we will settle this” he stated. I beamed in happiness, “Really Sir?” “Yes” he nodded and led the way to his office. I followed quietly behind him, a smile on my face. Go ahead you dog, this will be the end of you. Gaston always had a weakness for brunette, I had only just realized it, I should have known back in college when he picked me to be his girlfriend, a red hair against his long line of brunette ex-girlfriends, at the time, I thought there was something about me that was special. What a fool I was. We arrived at his office and he opened the door, drew a chair for me and then joined me. He couldn’t hid the excitement in his face as he stared at me, traces of drool almost dropping from his lips, he was disgusting. “Your Name?” “Diana, Sir” I responded. “Lovely name” he rested his elbows on his desk, “You know, I usually don’t do this but today might be your lucky day” I held up hopeful eyes, listening patiently, “What do you mean Sir?” He stood from his seat and walked towards me, then he placed his hands on shoulders and whispered into my ears, “I would really love for you to work for me” It took everything in me to not punch him in the face for touching me, I held back my disgust and disappointment and let out a smile. Turning my chair to face him, “You mean it Sir” I sounded ecstatic, happiness written all over my face for him to see. “Yes dear, you can begin new week” he answered like he had done me a good deed. “I can’t believe this, you don’t know what you have done for me Sir, I really needed this job to pay for my Grandma’s medical bills” I replied laying the bait. Nothing triggered a man’s emotion like seeing a poor naive girl who needed him. “Your Grandma is sick?” “Yes” I nodded, reaching for the handkerchief in my purse, I rub it over my dry eyes and then the tears began to run down. I had laced the handkerchief with a tear syrup incase I was unable to bring forth tears. “I’m so sorry my dear, if there is anything I can do to help. I will do it” he crouched down in front of me and held my hand, attempting to seduce me with his gaze. I stretched my hand and circled them around his neck, tight enough to strangle him but he didn’t notice it because he was lost in sniffing my scent. It was a famous perfume made to make men go feral. Men like Gaston ofcourse. “Thank you so much” I sprung from my seat, the sudden movement caused him to fall to the ground but he easily picked up himself. “You can drop your resume with the receptionist” he ordered as I stepped out of his office. I had expected it to be easy to fool him but this was much quicker than I thought. Has he always been this loose to manipulate or was I just blind that I never noticed it until my death.
