Beyonce leads us to an empty room. I hadn't noticed earlier but she looks tired and if you look hard enough you can see the dark circles under her eyes and the slouch of her shoulders. This makes me even more worried because she always has a bounce on her steps and a genuine smile on her face. She is one of the few people who can't help but be happy and I love her for it. I used to envy her for always being positive while I would overthink everything and always end up on the dark side. I feel awful for not being there for her when clearly she needed me to be. She stayed with me when I built walls to keep her away from me, when I gave up on myself and on my life and when I thought no one would ever love me.
