Coming to a halt at the entrance on her room, she thought of going back to the hall and waiting for Lora before leaving together as she had no intention of attending the event in the first place, if not for Lora's constant nagging. Sigh…. "I'm already here anyway there's no point in going back she'll just meet me later by the way this is her first official argument in public, why interrupt her? I believe that Nora b***h deserves a good beating anyway". Taking a deep breath she stepped into her room when suddenly she heard a small chuckle "Who's there?" She asked in high alert as she didn't notice anyone following her earlier. As she surveys her surroundings a figure walks out from behind a pillar as his golden eye stares at her beautiful silver gown and her charming blue eyes as she resembles their goddess Nala in the paintings. But of a smaller version. Staring that the intruder of her solitude, Chelsea gave him a stone cold expression as her eyes stare daggers at him. But the latter paid no mind to her glares as he walked towards her arrogantly before stopping in front of her. "You know, it's my fiancee you're talking about right?" he asked with indifference. "Yeah… And so what, I'm right you know?" she replied arrogantly without waiting for him to say a word she continued. "I mean is there any other person who suites the Grey's family best?" "Yes their is, but I can't have her because she's not from the elites background" he said as if feeling bad for his luck. Chelsea just stared at his with mixed emotions as she had no intention of continuing their conversation. 'I wonder if that fiancee of his will still be this annoying when I grow up. I'll make sure to give her a good beating for Lora' she thought to herself. But, to her surprise Estevan answered "Don't worry she will, and even more annoying than now" For the first time in her life feeling creeped out, she hurrily entered her room and shut the door but not before whispering the words "Such a weirdo" Unaware the person she called, heard her loud and clear as he chuckled quietly replacing his stone cold expression with a slight smile of amusement. After Chelsea entered through the door of her room, her expression filled with a mix of confusion and unease. She took off her shoes slowly and takes a deep breath, trying to calm her racing thoughts. As she enters her room. On returning to the hall Evans wasted no time in firing Mr James and replacing someone else as the head investor of the Orphanage. Quickly making Nora apologize to the crowd to her embarrassment, as he paid no heed to her constant nagging of reporting to their Luna if she was forced to do something she don't want to, but was ignored as Evans threatened to remove her father as the head of the 'Moon forest pack' which in power was only second to the goddess moon pack making Evans the overall seer of the whole pack no matter where or when as long as it was necessary and for the good of all. But, for Nora's case judging from how she grew up under the protect of their current Luna Evans mother, Maria she was favoured and chosen to be the next Luna at least that was the initial plan, but the goddess herself had other plans as on Evans coming of age ceremony where he will lead his fathers pack as the new alpha. But to everyone suprise his mate was not Nora as everyone anticipated. As silencing her, she apologized to Lora and everyone else for her behavior before running out of the hall as Evans bids everyone farewell before taking his leave as the hall erupted in loud murmurs. ************** At home ************ The room is dimly lit, with soft light emanating from a small lamp on a side table. Evans sits on a cozy couch, a melancholic expression on his face. He gazes out the window, his eyes fixated on the luminous full moon hanging in the night sky. As he spends his time pondering on Chelsea face wondering if she recognizes him in his human form as it burdens him if one day she comes to now the truth on was happened 2 years ago and if she can ever forgive him as he reminisces the past events. Harry, his supportive assistant, enters the room and notices Evans lost in thought. he quietly approaches him, sensing his troubled state. "Evans, is something troubling you?" he asked softly. Evans turns his head slightly to acknowledge Harry's presence but doesn't break his gaze from the moon. "It's been two years, Harry. Two years since... since that night. I can't help but regret my actions" he sighed Harry moves closer and sits down beside Evans, his warm presence offering comfort. "Regret can be a heavy burden to carry, Evans. But it's never too late to make amends or find forgiveness within yourself" Harry responded softly encouraging Evans. Evans's eyes well up with unshed tears as he recalls the painful memories. "I hurt someone I cared deeply about, Harry. I let my emotions consume me, and it cost me everything. I've been carrying this guilt ever since" Evans replied. "I understand, Evans. It's natural to feel remorse for the mistakes we've made. But dwelling on the past won't change what happened. What matters now is how you learn and grow from it" Harry said empathetically Evans turns to face Harry, eyes clouded with guilt and regret. "But how do you move on? How do you find peace?" Evans asked Harry places a gentle hand on Evans's shoulder, offering reassurance. "You must forgive yourself, Evans. Recognize that you aren't defined solely by your past actions. Use this pain as a driving force to become a better person, to make amends if possible, and to make wiser choices in the future" Evans takes a deep breath, trying to absorb Harry's words of wisdom. "You're right, Harry. I can't change the past, but I can use it as a lesson to shape my future. I need to let go of this burden and strive to be a better person" Evans replied but this time calmly. Harry smiles supportively, hoping to help his childhood friend overcome this obstacle in life and many more.
