What is he thinking! For three nights, he’d been overworking himself. He’d spend time with me during his breaks at day, then leave again. I understand an Alpha had responsibilities, but was it so hard for him to take care of himself?
He kept on checking on me to see if I’ve eaten or if I’ve gotten enough sleep or if I was getting bored like I was a newborn. Meanwhile, he was barely coming around and when he did, he sounded exhausted. Even though we eat together, he’d take a nap after so we rarely had conversations.
