Haunted Demon

Chapter one. THE GRIFFINSONS. Mrs.Griffinson stood there at the doorway of her husband's study libary in a daze perhaps shocked it's happening again quivering vigorously. Mr.Griffinson peeked up from the book he was reading earlier,and there stood his wife at the doorway who seemed to be shocked and in a daze. "Marylin" he called out but she still stood there in a trance,he then stood up from the chair he sat on placing the book gently on his desk. He took some few steps "Marylin" he called out again but that didn't seem to faze her the slightest,with a few more steps he was right infront of her then tapped her gently on the shoulder "Marylin ". "Marylin "he called out again. She then snapped out of her daze still quivering with tears in her eyes threatening to let loose. Stuttering she mumbled I,I……it's here,now a bit louder with a sob it's here, it's here George she said. Once again it was that time of the year, that time of the year where their son Davin went through excruciating pain,pain that seemed to be unleashed from the pits of hell. It's here George,Da….Davin i mean our son, He's experiencing it again she sobs in her husband's embrace. George seemed devastated just by the tears of her wife, and for the fact that his son was going through hell and there's nothing he could actually do about it. He patted his wife's back soothingly trying to calm her down. Not so far from them a ferocious roar could be heard coming from no other but Davin's room,he was in pain a pain not befitting for any human. Crawling on the floor claws sharp and elongated with blood shot eyes there was Davin panting heavily,the pain was too severe to be real. Gaining consciousness he was woken up by the the rays coming from no other but the sun,it was morning already feeling sore all over he stood up from the floor. The pain from last night was pretty unbearable,and it has been like this for the past 16years nothing seems to change. As he brushed through his beautiful silky pitch black hair with his fingers,he was lost in his thoughts,anytime he went through that the only thought he could have is to end it all but impossible it was, as if at those very moment death detested him. Lost in his thoughts he was suddenly drawn back to reality by a sudden gentle knock on his door. Knock,knock "Davin" son are you alright please open the door Marylin called out to his son. "Mother" he mumbled yet conflicted …should i he mumbled again. Marylin still called out to his son…Davin, Davin dear are you there ar…are you alright please open this door please. Suddenly she heard the door creak open,oh son she rushed in with teary eyes and hugged him ,how are you doing, does it still hurt? are you okay?should I call in the doctor. I'm fine mother he said tearing away from his mom's embrace. Son you don't look fine here ,your lips look at your lips they look too pale she said with her forehead arched in a frown. I will call the doctor right away,mother I'm fine!he uttered in an irritated yet compelling tone,now if you will excuse me I would like to take my bath mother. Alright son I will Inform the maids to prepare your bath she said sending a him a warm kiss on the forehead then she turned and left. Davin despised the fact that everyone around him pitied him. In a deserted foggy woods stood a hooded cloaked boney hands man with a powerful yet frightening,Vicious aura emanating from him. Not long a man in a black hoodie joined him,bowing down he greeted. Greetings my Lord, Reporting to you Lord I saw the boy yesterday and his pains seems to aggravate with every passing year. The hooded cloaked man then burst into a loud ferocious laughter,suddenly the laughter seized he then sharply turned to the the man in the hoodie, and said our task here is completed let's return back to the underworld. Then suddenly with a swirling mist he disappeared followed by the man in the hoodie. CHAPTER TWO. LILY MICHAEL In the heart of Gewneville a beautiful city known for it's rich soil for vegetation stood a humble mansion,the Michaels a noble family. The family was well known for their beautiful yet mystifying daughter lily Michael.Lily Michael an Eleven years old rebellious little girl,yet with a perfect pale skin a dimple on both cheeks with perfect shaped nose a long but curved eyelashes the only distinctive traits that made her beautiful yet mystifying was her beautiful silver eyes and long flowing fluffy silver hair. Lily was a total beauty who seemed to be sculptured by the heavens a goddess one may call her. She had two elderly brothers who dotted on her very much Bryan and Tyrus. Bryan was the oldest he was two years ahead to Tyrus, both boys were astoundingly handsome. Hearing the neighs of the horses outside lily knew it was her brothers coming back from a horse ride. She stood up from her bed rushing out of her room to meet his brothers outside.Slow down lily mr.michael called out to his daughter who was running out but that fell on deaf ears her pace didn't slow down even after her father's words. Just then Mr.michael turned to his wife in an irritated tone "Lillian" inculcate some good manners into your daughter,no man would like to take home a discourteous maiden home as bride your daughter is too rebellious. Pfttttt haha she burst out in a laughter you mean your daughter too,a leaf doesn't fall too far from the tree does it have you forgotten how rebellious you were too back then Lincoln? Becareful milady one of the servants called out after her just when she was right behind her brothers she kicked them each Ouuch! they yelled,what was that for Lily! Bryan said with a frown,with crossed arm and a pout she Uttered "That's for lying to me". You promised me a horseback ridding today and Hmph you left without me. They giggled reaching out for their rebellious yet adorable little sister and patted her sweetly on the head we promise to do that tomorrow, You promise? She asked waiting for a reassuring answer. We promise her brothers said with loving smile on their faces now let's get in. Bryan was the reserved type with an aloof aura very handsome at that while Tyrus was the unlike of his brother he was the funny,carefree yet mysterious, his handsomeness didn't seem to pale too off from his brother's. Today was lily's sixteenth birthday and as birthday present she requested to go out on haunting that no lady will request for on their birthday, Her parent knew their daughter had an odd taste as a lady yet they had no other option than to grant her just that. It was her birthday after all. Her father tried to talk some sense into her in hopes of changing her mind. "Lily"dear it's dangerous out there, and there are bandits in the woods who are ever ready to pounce on some nobles like us" "I wouldn't want those filthy ragged creatures to lay their hands on my precious jewel". "Oh father "Lily took her father's hands into hers and patted it with a smile. "father I will be just fine,you worry too much" . She then left for the courtyard and there stood her mounted stallion,it was an all white-coated horse with black stripes at it's mane. " It's beautiful "she said to the servant who was with it "can I pet it"? "Sure milady it's yours "he replied briefly. "What shall I name it?"thinking out she said. "Oh I know daisy "the servant looked up at her with a smile perhaps astound by this silly but cute name. Lily noticed the smile on the servant's face,she pouted..what are you smiling at? "Ah it's nothing milady please pardon my bad manner"he said in a pleading tone. Lily burst out In an hysterical laughter. "I'm just jesting with you". "I know, I know daisy sounds a little bit girly for our mighty stallion here". "What would you name it if it was yours"? "Milady how about Bolt" "Then bolt it is". She mounted up on bolt and kicked it. "Let's go boy" Then off she rode . Deep in the woods she heard a rustle behind, "Who is there she said". But no response ,then she heard another rustle behind.. "Who is there" she uttered once more but to no response once again. The suddenly a skinny ragged man with with a horrible scar to his left eye showed up from a nearby tree. "What a beautiful damsel we have here to what do we owe you a visit milady "he said In a sarcastic tone slightly bowing with a smirk on his face. Not so long the other bandits also showed up from their hiding spots. " Oh my this is bad " she uttered inwardly. " What do you want from me"bravely she Uttered. "Nothing much from milady "the man with the scar said"putting up a wicked smile. "Now if you will come with us quietly we assure you no harm "he said. "What do you take me for a fool,what good could actually come from people like you?" "I would like to see you try" she said. "Get her here" The man in scar said.Completely out of patience and irritated. Lily's heart skipped a beat at that but she still stood her ground with a fearless look. Just when the bandits were about to take to their heels,they were stopped by someone. This man was completely tall,well built and very handsome at that with a beautiful pitch black hair flowing behind him,he looked like an angel at that he moved with grace slow but mighty just to stop them. For a while everyone was in a daze then the silence was suddenly broken. "What are you fools looking at take him down and bring the girl the leader said". "No one lays a finger on the girl" the siIky hair man in a commanding voice". "And who are you to command us" the leader of the bandits said. "Who am i you will know in no due time ".he said with a curled lip. "Don't listen to his nonsense take him down and bring the girl. " The first one to move suddenly felt a cold chill In at his spine with a shock on his face he fell to the ground with his heart popping out. Everybody stood with horrified look on at the sight of this. CHAPTER THREE YOU MIGHT NOT BE FORTUNATE SOME OTHER TIME. Now they stood there frightened to make a move their colleague's death took them by surprise it was so swift yet horrifying. "What are you staring at attack him together " With a bit courage they decided to attack but to their nightmares not a single one could launch an attack they all had their hearts sticking out, With horrified looks on they all fell to their demise, they weren't even given the chance to launch an attack that was so swift and graceful. The leader was disgusted and horrified at this occurrence he stood there in a trance and frightened,then suddenly he heard a voice say "I told you ,you will no who I am in no due time. "Dinner is served enjoy " "Oh would you like to join them" I can do you that favor you know ". The man looked at him as if looking at a monster,then he fell to his feet in a pleading voice he said. "Ah no,no please,please pardon me please, please spare my life. "Could you be a bit louder"he said in a mocking voice" "I…….before he could complete his sentence his heart was sticking out just like the others ,with the same facial expression he fell to the ground dead. Lily stood there stupefied by everything that has just gone on. Then suddenly her savior turned to her he was absolutely gorgeous and still well kept after the fight. "I'm sorry you had to see my gruesome acts"he uttered with an expression that doesn't seem to go accordance to his plead. "But they sure deserved it"he said with a smirk. "Becareful out here milady " "You might not be fortunate some other". Then with a tap on her shoulder he was nowhere in the vicinity. Lily stood there still processing everything that just happened. Suddenly she remembered where she was,she mounted on bolt and off she rode. Lily couldn't stop herself from thinking about that stranger that whole night. Never has she met a man such Vicious yet beautiful……yes beautiful he was so beautiful, "What I'm I doing lily,thinking of a man?" Her cheeks flushed red and with a loud thud she could feel her heart beating. "Who was that girl she felt so familiar, and those hair and pair of eyes of hers Beautiful yet mystifying. Davin rhetorically asked himself. Year passed by as lily's last encountered that stranger ,today lily is supposed to be married off the only son of the GRIFFINSONS. A man she barely know or seen and to make it worse she doesn't even love. If only she had her ways she would have strongly objected to the marriage but she had no say. Lily sat Infront of her mirror sad as her maids dolled her up adorning her with jewelleries that actuated with her outfit making her look like goddess who just descended from her throne. She was looking stunning,her thoughts were suddenly interrupted with a sudden knock on her door. There came in her mom she was awestruck just by how beautiful her daughter was looking. "Mom"lily uttered "Oh darling you look so beautiful" "But mom I don't want to get married". "I know dear,but for the sake of your dad and I please do so " "But….mom Before lily could utter another word her mom rushed to give her a kiss on the forehead and out she went without a haste,before her daughter could whine. Lily soo much despised this marriage. Her carriage was already packed outside,everything set for her departure. She hugged her parent warmly ,and she couldn't stop the tears threatening to fall as she made her way to her brothers to bide them goodbye. She hugged them for a long time before parting with them. Now she made her way to her carriage with one foot in she heard Tyrus behind, "We sure are going to miss you,Miss Rebellious " She turned to meet her brother's mocking yet sad warm smile. " come visit us soon" Lily nodded with a smile then in the carriage she went in no time the carriage set off. All along the ride she couldn't help but feel anxious as to who the man she was married off going to be.was he going to be handsome, a good or a bad husband? She couldn't help but kept asking herself. CHAPTER FOUR: IT'S YOU. Suddenly the carriage came to a halt,lily peeked out and there stood a beautiful luxurious mansion much bigger than theirs and nothing like what she had expected. She was then ushered out of the carriage by Liam the butler of the griffinsons. "This way my lady" he said soon they were on the big corridor of the mansion, she was then led into a luxurious brightly illuminated room with the bed was quite big and felt so fluffy. Weird as lily thought to herself she expected to be welcomed by her in-laws but weird to no one did. "Such a warm welcome hah"she scoffed. Secondly she was expecting a man in this room her husband at that but the room was only empty. " "Such a weird household" she mumbled. Davin had earlier protested to the idea of his parent getting him a bride but little did he know his cunning parent still carried out with their earlier suggestions. Davin came back from his wandering as usual and felt the presence of an intruder in his room,there laid a woman on his bed deeply in a slumber ,he couldn't really make out features well so he got closer and took a peek perfect shaped nose, red rosy lips and "SILVER coloured hair she reminded him of someone it was her the lady he saved a year ago in the woods. He felt his heart skipped a beat,he felt warmth engulfing his heart. She's beautiful, very she has grown more beautiful from the last time he saw her. The next morning lily woke and was stunned it was already morning, how has she been asleep and did her husband come last night? This were the questions she couldn't stop herself from asking. Suddenly she heard a knock on her door and there came in the maid milady we are here for your morning bathe, She then slidded into her bathtub as the maid perform their duties. "What is your name "she asked the maid " I'm Jane milady " "Jane"Lily repeated with a nod. "Alright Jane I'm Lily and i hope we become good friends ". Jane nodded with a smile for maids weren't supposed to be friends with their masters she felt privileged to be friends with this goddess and her master at that. "Urm Jane " "Yes milady " "Just call me Lily,where are your masters?" "You mean Mr. And Mrs.Griffinson and your husband Master Davin? Oh so Davin is his name Lily thought to herself. "Yeah where are they?" "They are waiting for you at the dinning Hall I came to prepare you for just that". "Oh" that was all Lily could utter. Soon she was dolled up beautifully with a peach coloured dress that really brought to life her beauty. Soon the maid led the way to the dinning Hall it was a big beautiful one at that. What struck her attention was the man sitting at the very edge of the table. He bare a slight resemblance to someone farmliar but he couldn't remember just who that was ,but this man here was more of her father's age Her thoughts were suddenly invaded by a sweet voice it was a woman's she hadn't noticed her earlier, she turned and saw a lo and behold she had a jade green eyes and she was very beautiful. Lily was awestruck by her beauty. If the parent are this good looking how about the son she thought to herself. The voice invaded her thoughts again it was calm and warm. "Have a sit dear,sorry for our uncourteous behaviour yesterday, we just thought you were tired and we wanted you to rest so we didn't want to worry you with any formalities " Lily replied with a nod and a smile . "By the way have you met your husband yet" She said playful smile as she giggled. What a silly mother-in law Lily thought to herself. "Nope please" she replied curtly. "Oh here he is Davin ,your lovely wife here was just asking of you",she said with a giggle. "Oh did she" His voice sounded farmliar, Lily turned to where the voice was emanating from and was stunned. It's him the stranger from the woods Looking more handsome from the last time she last saw him,and her heart fluttered. "Oh our beautiful wife here seemed to be in a daze,what? is this your first time seeing someone soo handsome " Lily blushed at his speech. "It's you".that was all she could utter. "Oh I see you guys have already met"said his mother. CHAPTER FIVE: DEAR WIFEY. They all sat around the table in a completely awkward silence. As lily munched on her breakfast she felt a hard gaze directing straight at her,she just knew those gaze were from no other but her husband Davin. Feeling soo nervous that she couldn't keep up with it any longer up she went from her chair. "Um please excuse me I think I'm full". With a nod and a smile from her in-laws she left the dining hall still a little bit hungry yet still nervous. Are you sure you're full dear wifey she heard him call after her she ignored. Soon she was in their chamber slamming the door behind "Urgh what's wrong with him! his so annoyingly weird yet still handsome "at the thought of this her heart fluttered once more. She laid on the bed suddenly her stomach growls. "Urgh I'm still hungry" She suddenly heard a knock on the door then came in jane with food on a tray. "Hah how thoughtful of him after dismissing me from the dinning Hall with his gaze"Lily thought to herself a bit irritated and pleased. She then sat on her bed reading a book after her breakfast, she was new to this place and little did she know her surrounding that much to carry out any other activity than reading. Her reading was yet invaded with the thoughts of Davin she was curious, where he has been the whole night at her arrival and why he still haven't joined her yet in their chamber. She was then drifted away by sleep. The next thing she knew it was sunset she was nervous, "What is actually going to happen tonight will he join me in here tonight " "Will he make love to me ?" "Will he take me by force or respect my decision of not wanting to get made love to? I'm seriously not ready God." Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted with a knock on her door. Her heart skipped a beat ,there came in jane with her supper. Milady shall I prepare your bathe now ? Lily nodded "yeah". Jane moved in to do as instructed. Lily then went in for her bath she returned and sat for her food. She couldn't help but rethhink of her previous Thoughts she was nervous. She then laid on her bed after her super seems to be waiting for the worst to get unfolded. Fully guarded and alarmed. But sleep didn't give in to any of her pleas she fell asleep in her turquoise blue nightgown which really seem to actuated her beautiful pale skin. She was a pleasing site to watch with her long lashes resting proudly on her cheeks. A complete goddess she was. Davin suddenly teleported into his chamber of course one of his many abilities. He was then caught off guarded by the goddess laying on his bed in a slumber. He couldn't stop himself getting drawn closer to her by her beauty. He sat on the bed as he tacked away some strand of hair from her face. He couldn't help but admire her beauty, he then pressed her cheeks with his forehand. "Silly girl sleeping like this tempting the demons of your husband "he uttered. Then he took back his hand,stood to his feet and then teleported out again. The next morning Lily was surprised to find herself all alone once again,to which she was curious as to why. "I'm I repulsive that he doesn't even want to share a room with me?" Lily was surprised she was supposed to be pleased not irritated at this. Days passed by and the same Routine. Once again Davin visited his chamber as one of the many nights. He took a few steps to the bed and he felt a sharp pain at his spine he ignored,and took a few more steps suddenly his eyes changes colour it was bloodshot now and his claws came peeking out elongated. "s**t" he cursed. It's happening again how could he have forgotten today was his birthday. He made an attempt to teleport back from where he came from, he didn't want to wake his wife up to this horrific sight. But he was too late the pain started crawling all over he fell to his knees it was excruciatingly painful. He tried very much to stop his growl scared of scaring lily. But he couldn't he growled and Oh my Lily awakes to the sight she stared in a daze for a while probably shocked. She knew from the very day she set eyes on him ,that there was something weird,different about him….he was different. She then stood up from her bed with no look of fright on her face. Davin tried to crawl away signalling her not to come closer. Scared he might hurt her. But Lily kept moving closer and closer with no look of fright but that of worry. She felt bad for him he seemed to be in a great pain. Davin was stunned at her expression, he expected her to look at him with disdain and fright,but what was this look on her face did she really care about him.No he was expecting her to scream and call for help He then felt a soft and warm hand on his forehead it was that of lily, she was kneeling right infront of him with a worried and sad look. His heart fluttered this woman she's different Then suddenly what seemed like an excruciating pain started subsiding,his claws,his elongated claws kept decreasing . What was happening to him,what did lily do to him to stop all this ,"are you okay " He heard lily's voice ask. He nodded with a yeah. Everything seemed to return back to how he was earlier….he was overwhelmed by everything . He then suddenly teleported out to process everything that just happened. Lily was stunned by his sudden disappearance. "He can do that too?" She said In a daze. In an abandoned mansion he sat processing all what just happened. Why did his pain stop at her touch and why did she look at him with worry and sadness not fright and disgust. He couldn't help but think and once again his heart fluttered. This woman has invaded his heart. Once again in the fogy woods stood the hooded cloaked man and not long the unknown man in the black hoodie showed up. "My Lord " he bowed slightly to greet "Reporting to the lord I saw the boy again the pain seems to aggravate with each passing year " "Oh is that so"the man in the hooded cloak cut in with a delightful chuckle. "But" the man in the hoodie uttered. "But"?the hooded cloaked man said with irritated face . "But this time round his pain was stopped before it even started by just a touch from his wife" The hooded man said obviously scared of the outcome of his speech. With a clinched fist a cracking of bones could be heard. "Who is this woman "he asked "I have no idea my lord"he said. As if figuring something out "Get me the girl "he said and with a swirling mist he disappeared . CHAPTER SIX: DID YOU MISS ME DEAR WIFEY. It's been five days now since the incident that night and Lily was dead worried about him. "How was he doing?" "Is he okay?" She fell asleep thinking about Davin. He teleported to his chamber,he really missed her and wanted to see her. She had enchanted him and he couldn't stay away from her anymore. He took a sit closer to her taking in her beauty, He then pressed a finger lightly on her lips and she suddenly opened her eyes "Davin " she called out then took a sit on the bed in a haste taking his hand in hers in an inspecting way . "Are you okay?" She whispered then placing her hand on his forehead ,taking in his temperature to check if he is okay Then they locked gaze,she blushed shyly and quickly took her hands away. His gaze was hot and intense, mixed with warmth and also something she couldn't tell in there. Davin took her chin by hand…..and stared intensely into her beautiful, mystifying silver eyes. "Did you miss me dear wifey?"he asked jokingly. Lily blushed "your mom was worried "she answered. "Can I kiss you "he blurted out. He waited for an answer that seems to take forever. He was going to kiss her anyways,he was badly yearning for her. He then leans in and conquers her lips in his,her lips were so soft and sweet. Lily's head felt fuzy by the kiss she could feel his warm yet spicy breath on her. She was soo much engulfed with pleasure,her head felt blank. The kiss seemed to intensify into a passionate one he then broke away from her and like a thin air he vanished lily was left breathlessly panting. She was overwhelmed by their kiss and somehow disappointed he left. Lily sat on her bed quite disappointed and bewildered. "Why did he leave me to battle my desire all alone" She said to herself in a frown. Yet she was caught off guard reminiscing on the kiss they shared not long and she blushed. In the dark old spooky house where he spent most of his time at there stood Davin in sweat "Damn" he cursed,she is too Alluring I really don't know what I would have done if I hadn't broke away from our kiss" As if reminiscing on what happened with lips curved up in a devilish smile. Lily was woken up by the light rays from the sun it was morning already she looked to her side of the bed with a disappointing smile. "Silly me why was I even expecting him to lay next to me when I awake it's not like he has ever done that since I arrived here". She stood for her bath and as usual the maids came in to aid her. At the dinning table lily blushed every now and then Davin couldn't stop glaring .
