Chapter 8

We were enjoying our time with our drinks. Zeus complimented me. I found Zain was also a nice guy. Though he didn't show that much but he really loved Hope and was extremely possessive about her. I didn't saw Aaron and Adeel. Where were they?

I noticed Venus was a little upset but she tried to cover it up.

Everyone were dancing, chatting while drinking. But I and Venus sat there quietly. While sitting there I felt like I was being watched. Like someone was burning me with their heated stare. I turned around and found Adeel was watching me with a dark gaze while drinking. He looked really handsome in blue tux with black shirt. How could someone look so good without even trying? Wasn't it unfair?

I shivered at his gaze and tried to look away. Why was he looking me like that?

It was time for everyone to dance.  I looked around to find everyone was settled with their partners except I , Hazel and Venus. Zeus was standing with Amelia  who was glaring at Hazel.

What is her problem? I saw Hazel looked away from them. Hurt crossed on her face but she masked it with a smile. Ariana was clinging to Adeel but he wasn't paying her any attention. I didn't see Aaron. Where was he? Wasn't he going to ask Venus for the dance? She was his fiancee.

Then I saw Aaron coming from a corner with a girl who was wearing a navy blue mini dress. My eyes widened and I looked at Venus to see if she saw them yet. But she already saw them. Her vision blurred but she looked away.

How could Aaron do this to her? He had the most beautiful girl as his fiancée still he took another girl with him. That was absolutely bullshit.

Suddenly a very cute looking guy came forward and asked Venus for dance. She was about to refuse but Hazel cut her off by sending her with the guy. He looked harmless. So I also told her to go. She looked hesitant first but agreed to dance with him. That Aaron needed to taught a lesson. I knew he loved Venus by the way he way he was stealing glaces of Venus when no one was looking.

Soon Hazel found his partner too. The guy was from our class and I saw him looking at Hazel few times.

You see nothing escapes from my eyes. I am that smart (wink).

I was about to turn around and go to sit on the couch but I bumped into someone.

When I looked up I saw it was Neil. He was my classmate. I smiled and mumbled a hi to him. He also returned the gesture. I was about to go away when he said.

"Ayra! Do you mind dancing with me?" He asked with a smile. I thought it would be boring and awkward to sit there alone. So it's better If I also danced with everyone. I nodded and he took my hand. He guided me to the dance floor where everyone was waiting for the music.

The DJ played A thousand year by Christina Perri. We all started yo move with the music. I felt someone was burning holes on my back from behind.

When I turned around I saw Adeel was looking at me. Sorry glaring at me.

Soon the songs changed and Everyone swept partners. Neil twirled me around and I landed on some else. When I looked up I found it was Zeus. I smiled at him so did he.

"I didn't know you could dance so well" he teased me

" I must say then you don't know me well" I also teased him

"Really? Then I need to know you. Are you a book? Can I read you?" He asked me jokingly.

"Nah that's not your cup of tea, But there is one thing you need to know." I said to him with a poker face.

"And may I know what is it?" He asked he playfully.

"If you hurt my best friend again I will chop you alive" I threatened him.

He looked taken aback. Then he looked away and nodded.

Soon the current song ended and again we switched partners.

I was again pushed to someone else. Perfect by Ed Sheeran played in the background. That certain someone held me close and sneaked his hand around my waist. I kept my hands on his chest for support and looked up. I was welcomed with a pair of blue ocean eyes. He was looking at me intensely.

He brought my body  more close to his. I was so lost in his eyes. We moved with the beat. He swirled me around. And brought his face close mine. His breathe was fanning on my neck. He Nuzzled on my neck with his nose. I closed my eyes. It seemed thousands of butterfly was fluttering in my belly.

I knew it was wrong but still I couldn't push myself away from him. I shivered when he traveled his hand from my back to my waist. The whole time he was looking at me.

We danced on I didn't know how many songs. We separated from each other when everyone clapped their hands.

I immediately left  him and went  where my friends were.

Adeel didn't say anything to me nor I did. We left the party in midnight after drinking and dancing.

Everyone decided that we would be staying at Zain's penthouse which was 20 mins drive away. Since tomorrow was weekend everyone agreed. I was hesitant first but remembered I couldn't returned to my dorm as it was already midnight.

We decided to leave early. And have some fun at Zain's penthouse in our own way. It was obviously Zeus's idea.

We were all settled in a circle in Zain's living room playing truth and dare. I was seated between Venus and Hazel. In front of me was Zeus and beside him was Adeel. Aaron was seating between Zain and Adeel while Hope was seating between Zain and Venus.

Hazel spined the bottle and it stopped in front of Zain.

Everyone excluding me and Venus smirked.

He  just shrugged it off.

"I will ask him" Hazel said and we nodded.

She smirked devilishly at Zain who looked normal.

"So Truth or dare"?

" Truth"

" Tell us a Embarrassing story of Zeus?" Hazel asked cleverly.

Zain looked at Zeus who was shocked and smirked. Did this boys know any thing except Smirking? I thought to myself.

"What? Why me?" Zeus asked horrified.

"Because I want to know" she said in a matter of fact.

We all laughed.

"Tell us fast" Hazel asked Zain.

"Well, once when we were in middle school we were in lab doing a project but someone dropped glue on a chair and Zeus sat on it unknowingly. When he tried to get up he couldn't because of the glue. So we had to pull him out from the chair and his pant got ripped. And we had to take him to home by sticking pages on his a*s" by the time Zain finished we all were laughing our asses off.

I looked at Zeus and he was really embarrassed.

"It wasn't funny" Zeus argued with playful anger.

"Yeah you are right. I wasn't funny because it was hilarious." Hazel said while still laughing.

"Okay enough, I will spin the bottle now" Hope said and took the bottle.

She spined it and it stopped in front of Aaron.

He didn't look bothered at all.

"So Aaron, Truth or dare?

" Dare"

"Kiss Venus for 2 minutes" Hope said with a mischievous smile.

We didn't expect this. I looked at Venus who looked shocked.

Aaron shrugged it off and stood up from his seat. He moved near Venus. Who was blushing furiously.

He cupped her cheeks and kissed her.

Don't you dare to ask me any detail. I didn't know okay. They did it and I looked away.

They kissed for whole 2 mins and when Hope said Done they didn't listen. They were lost in their own world.

When they pulled away I saw Venus was blushing so hard. Her face was red as tomato. Aaron as usual was stoic. I saw the boys gave him a teasing smirk and he smirked back.

We moved to our game. Zeus spined the bottle and guess what.

I was the next victim. Zeus gave me a evil smile.

Why do I feel like I was seeing the Satan is giving me smirk? What is he planning to do? I know I am going to be in deep s**t. I thought to myself.

"Tell me, truth or dare?" Zeus asked me evilly and I gulped

"Truth"

"Tell us honestly what do you think of Adeel?" He asked me and my eyes widened.

I am officially doomed. If I tell them honestly what I think about him then Adeel will throw me in a pool full of sharks. Or he will Push me from a hill. Or maybe burry me alive? What not? I thought to myself.

Why did I agreed to play this game? I looked at Adeel and saw he was looking at me intensely. Everyone was waiting for my answer. I gulped and closed my eyes. I took a deep breathe and started,

" uhmm nothing much, I just think he is a pure devil. Best friend of the Satan. He doesn't have any manners. He is very rude and arrogant. He always thinks that he is the almighty. But in honesty he is nothing but a devil. I hate him because he always irritate the hell out of me. Sometimes I think to murder him by injecting bacteria in his body or making some pancakes by powdering him with a mixer. But then I think it would taste useless like him and moreover I'm too innocent to go to jail. That's too for what? Murdering a devil. No way!  But he always comes with a way to insult me. He is a complete jerk. He doesn't know how to respect a lady. By it I mean me.  And trust me when I said he is a devil then he really is. I know Satan would be so ashamed when he would find out that someone else has took his place. It would be so weird for him. He would be jobless but it's not my fault. " I finished my speech in one breathe.

When I opened my eyes I saw everyone was looking at me with a shocked expression

I nervously chuckled. They looked each other then burst out in laughing. I looked at Adeel and saw he was looking at me coldly. I know I am going to die.

Bye Maa, Bye baba, bye bye world I will miss you guys. I thought to myself.

"I didn't expect so many Adjective about Adeel from you" Zeus said while laughing.

"Adeel you are doomed man" Zain said to Adeel.

"That was epic" Hazel said and Hope nodded along with Venus while laughing.

I just smiled at them sheepishly.

I looked at Adeel who was throwing draggers at me. He looked murderous. I gulped.

"Look I am sorry but I am not sorry. You earned this yourself. You shouldn't have mess with me." I said to with a sheepish smile him and he glared at me.

"You are talking as if you are a innocent angel. You are nothing but a dumb a*s girl who doesn't know anything except quarreling." he spat at me and I glared at him.

"How dare you to call me dumb?" I stood up and angrily yelled at him.

"And how dare you to call me those names?" He also stood up and yelled at me angrily.

"Because you deserve those and earned by yourself" I spat at him angrily

"Same applies for you" he said and smirked

"I hate you. you are such a devil" I said while looking at him angrily.

He just smirked at me then said,

"Well, the feeling is mutual, isn't it?" with that he walked past me not before pushing me by his shoulder. I stumbled back. The nerve of that devil.

Argh I hate him so much
