Chapter 9

Time flew by a blur. My first semester was finished. And I got an A. I was so happy for that. In few months I would be in my second year of college.

I was currently walking towards my locker lost in my thoughts. Suddenly I bumped into someone hard and stumbled back but didn't slip.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" I apologized and looked up at the person. Deep ocean eyes were staring at me intensely. His gaze sent shiver down to my spine. Why did it always happen? Why did he affect me so much?

"Are you done staring?" He asked me, amused.

I snapped my head towards him and blushed in embarrassment.

"I.. I wasn't sta..staring" I shuttered. He just looked at me like I said something funny. What was there to stare? He wasn't Chris Evans.

"Sure you weren't" he said sarcastically and I glared at him. I started to walk away leaving him there. He didn't say anything nor did follow me.

Wow. That would have been so amazing. But no. That didn’t happen instead he blocked my way. I looked up and scowled at him.

"What do you want?" I asked and crossed my arms in front of him. He smirked at me. I frowned.

"What could you offer?" he said and kudus to my dirty mind who understood his double meaning question. I shot him a deadly glare.

"Well, I could offer you a permanent place in hell where arrogant Satan like you lives not-so-peacefully . Would you like that?" I said with a sugar coated smile. His smile vanished and got replaced by a sweet cute glare. Aww! I had hurt someone's feelings.

"Are all Bangladeshi girls like you? Who doesn't know anything except quarreling?"

"No. They are very sweet like me but there's a hidden part of us which knows how to tight the lose screw of boys like you." I said pointing a his whole frame.

"You really are a psychotic woman." he said with a glare.

"Thank you so much now could you please move your arrogant a*s from here so that I could go." I said and pushed him aside and walked away. He was shouting behind me but I didn’t mind him.

What does he think of himself? Shawn Mendes or Toni Mahfud that I would stare at him? He wasn't even handsome like them. I thought to myself angrily.

Lies lies lies

My inner best friend decided to grace me with her presence.

Okay I know I lied. He was really handsome but I didn't need to say that aloud to boost his already tall as the Mt. Everest ego. I entered in my next class and sat down with a huff.

After my class ended I entered in the cafeteria and saw everyone was sitting there while waiting for their food. I went near them and sat on my usual seat which was between Hazel and Venus.

They all greeted me and smiled at me except for the devil who was as always busy glaring at me. I officially got to know that he didn't know anything expect glaring. I smiled at them back and ignored the Satan.

You guys might be thinking what  happened after I and Adeel fought on that night. Okay let me tell you.

After he left from the living room we all went to our rooms. I slept with Hazel in a room. In the morning we all ate our breakfast and I and Adeel pretty much avoided each other if you didn't count the glares and cold looks which he sent towards me. And obviously me being me returned him his glares happily.

After that he went back in his usual life and I went back to mine.

I would have been very happy if it happened. But it didn't happen at all. After our last  encounter he made my life a living hell. He didn't let any chance to insult and annoy the hell out of me.

I wanted to sent him to Africa's most dangerous forest. He could have rest in peace there. But I couldn't as his parents and minions would surely filed a charge on me for sending their beloved Adeel aka the Satan away. Then police would have arrested me and threw me in the jail and as I said before I was too cute and Innocent for that. You see that's why couldn't do anything for that. Poor me!

I and Hazel started to sit with the popular group as Hope and Venus insisted and we couldn't refuse them. We four became really close in those months.

"Why were you late?" Hazel asked me  while eating her sandwich. I snapped out of my thoughts.

"I met the Satan on the way that's why" I replied to her while smiling sweetly at Adeel. Everyone's head snapped towards Adeel and they sent him a teasing smile which he returned with a glare.

"Oh ho, I see" Hope sang in a teasing voice. I just laughed at them. Adeel said nothing just kept eating while throwing me draggers through his looks.

Everyone was eating while chatting. When Ariana came and sat beside Adeel. She was clinging to him like her life depended on him. I didn't know why but I started feel really irritated with her. Amelia was trying to get Zeus's attention but he was ignoring her. I noticed some tension between Zeus and Hazel. Did I again miss something?

I shook my head and looked around to find Adeel was watching me. When our eyes met he looked away. Strange!

Suddenly an evil thought crossed in my mind and I smirked at my thoughts.

"You guy's know, the Satan for whom I was late, was totally crazy. I found out that one of his screw was lose" I said to them and they all started to laugh.

"How dare you to call me crazy?" Adeel said to me angrily. I looked at him with an innocent look.

Everyone started to laugh loudly except Ariana who was glaring at me. Now I got it. Adeel and Ariana's pair was made in hell. That's why they both knew only thing that was glaring at people. How sweet I thought to my self sarcastically.

"Oh I'm really sorry. I forgot that you were the one I met in the hallway." I said to Adeel while pretending like I really forgot. He was throwing draggers at me and was about to say something but Ariana cut him off by her sentence.

"You are calling Adeel Crazy?" She asked while glaring at me.

"Shhhh! Didn't anyone teach you not to call a crazy person crazy in front of them? It's a bad manner. They might feel bad. You shouldn't hurt anyone's feeling." I said to her sweetly. 

Everyone was trying to held their laughs but failed miserably. They started to laugh so loudly. Even The cold and stoic Aaron was smiling.

"How dare you to call me mannerless and my boyfriend crazy"? She spat angrily at me. I was about to answer her but Hazel cut me of.

" Who said you are Adeel's girlfriend? I don't think Adeel gave you that title so stop assuming things." Hazel said while glaring at Ariana.

We all started to laugh. Ariana looked at Adeel for support who just ignored her.

"You can't insult my best friend like that." Amelia said while glaring at Hazel. Does this people know anything except glaring? I thought to myself

"Am I talking to you? No right? Then you should keep your dirty mouth shut." Hazel snapped at Amelia.

"You b***h, how dare y.." Amelia couldn't finish her sentence as Zeus cut her off.

"Shut up Amelia" He glared at her angrily.

"Baby why are you talking her side? I'm your girlfriend not her." She said while whining.

"If you ever call my sister with names again then I will make sure that  you don't step in this college again." Adeel who was busy glaring at me said to Amelia coldly and she gulped visibly and nodded. I smiled at Adeel because of his love for his sister.

"And about you being my girlfriend crap, you and I are over So get lost from here now." Zeus said to Amelia coldly and I looked at Hazel who was shocked. I mentally jumped in joy. Finally he got back to his sense. I hope now he and Hazel would be back together.

"Baby you can't do this to me. I love you and I can't.." This time Hope spoke up

"Didn't you heard what Zeus said? Get lost" she snapped at her.

Amelia got up from her chair while glaring at us and left from there storming her feet on the ground.

"I'm sorry for her behavior." Zeus said to Hazel who just nodded. I guess she was still in shock.

The bell rang and everyone got up for their respective classes. I hurriedly got up and ran away from there because I knew Adeel wouldn't spare me. I was right because he was calling me from behind

I was about to enter in my class when two  hands wrapped around me and in instant threw me on their shoulder. I was about to scream,

"Shut up." He said while walking down the empty hallway.

Yep you are right I was being kidn*pped by my own personal devil.

WHAT!

Did I just said my devil? No way. I surely had hit my head on something. That's why I was speaking nonsense.

Suddenly he threw me off his shoulder and in an instant pinned me to the nearest wall.

When did we entered in here? How could he be so fast?

If you didn't get where we were then let me do the honour by telling you.

We were in a empty class room and I was pinned to the wall with both my hands above my head by his. He was glaring at me and his face was so close to me that his hot breathe was fanning on my skin.

When I looked at our position my eyes widened in shock. His body was pressed so closely on mine that even air couldn't pass. I shivered in unknown sensation.

"Why did you call me crazy?"

He asked me angrily.

"Can you move from me? You are stepping in my personal space and it's not right." I said to him angrily.

"No, not before you answer my questions." He said to me while devilishly smirking. I looked at him and glared at him.

He looks really handsome in his navy blue hoodie and jeans.

What are you thinking Ayra? Have you lost your mind? You are praising the devil who has kept you captured?

Come on wake up. I  scolded myself.

"What questions?" Though I knew what was he talking about but still I pretended like I didn't get it.

"Why did you call me crazy?" He asked me while looking at me intensely.

He was holding me into place and didn't let me  move.

"Because you are crazy" I said to him while smiling sheepishly.

He smiled, amused.

"Do you know what crazy person does when someone calls him crazy?" He asked huskily while smirking.

I shook my head in denial. What did they do? I didn't call any crazy person crazy in front of them. So I didn't know? Did they bite? My eyes widened in my thoughts. I looked at him and he smirked at me.

"Okay, let me show you what they do." He said with a devilish grin on his face.
