"Are you sure this is a cafeteria "Linda asked Desiree
"Yes and you can order whatever you like"
They looked for a table and sat down
"So,how does the alpha behave?Linda asked munching on some food.
"Umm,sometimes he's a nut job and sometimes quiet"
"Cough cough"
Linda almost choked on her food.
"Quiet you say?that's not true,the one I heard and saw that day was clearly a talkative,asking questions here and there"
"Yeah,he does complain a lot,but he's usually quiet on other matters"
"Hmm,we'll see about that"
At 5:00 pm,Linda was ready to go home,she went downstairs when she got there she didn't see Desiree so,she decided to text Desiree"Hey girl,I'm downstairs where are you?"
On the other hand,Desiree was walking with Mr Austin,she heard her phone buzz but,she didn't bother to check who it was.
"So miss Desiree,I guess that's all for today,just make sure that everything's okay and all the clients are satisfied"Mr Austin told Desiree.
"Okay..."Desiree was interrupted by Mr Austin's voice.
"Good evening alpha"He said bowing slightly
"Good evening alpha"Desiree also said
Alpha Ryde twitched his nose and asked "What's that scent?"
Desiree and Austin looked at their selves and both raised their shoulders indicating that they didn't know.Rydes eyes scanned everywhere and suddenly he growled"mate"
Desiree looked at his direction and saw Linda backing them, immediately Austin wanted to look back a vase was smashed don his head, making him go unconscious at the spot.
Ryde looked up but didn't see anyone,he quickly carried Mr Austin and took him to his car,and they sped off to the hospital,onlookers felt pity for Mr Austin, Desiree stood speechlessly by the pavement,her mind was in turmoil,the one she loved was her best friends mate,how could that happen?she asked herself but couldn't get any answer,her thoughts were ruined when she heard her name and someone tapping her repeatedly.
"Desiree are you okay?"Linda's face came to her view and she instantly felt the urge to punch her face till it bled,she covered up her evil plans by flashing Linda a fake smile
