Chapter 14 His mate??

**Next day**

Linda woke up to her alarm and went about the morning like the previous day,she was ready at 7:10 am and called Desiree out since they were already running late

"Why isn't she answering?"Linda thought to herself,she walked to Desiree's room and knocked on the door thrice,but there was no response,she hurriedly opened the door thinking that something might have happened to Desiree but, when she did she saw that the room was dimly lit and the bed was spread neatly then,it dawned on her that Desiree didn't come back home last night,she quickly took her keys and rushed out of the house.

At noon,Linda went to the cafeteria for lunch,she sat at the same table which she had sat on with Desiree the day before,she took out her phone and tried to call Desiree but she was redirected to voicemail.

5 minutes after she started eating she left her food because she didn't have an appetite anymore,she was worried about Desiree.

"Oh s**t,I don't even know her office"she started thinking of who to ask so,she went to Mr Austin's office, unfortunately for her,he was still in the office.

Lastly,she decided to go to the Alphas office to thank him and then use the opportunity to ask if he knew where Desiree's office was.

She laughed happily and entered an elevator.

After 2 minutes she got to the eighth floor,then she saw a handsome man walk out immediately their eyes met her wolf started jumping in her mind

"Mate,mate,get me my mate"

Linda thought she was dreaming the same man she had a heated argument with and the same man she bumped on her way to the interview was her mate?

"How could this be?how would I see my mate and wouldn't know?"

Linda was still lost in thought when she saw a pair of shiny shoes in her vision so,she slowly looked up.

"Hi alpha"she greeted awkwardly.

Unknown to her,her scent was already gone and her mate(the alpha) didn't know she was his mate.

"What are you doing here?he asked her coldly.

Linda was taken aback,didn't he know that she was his mate?

"Alpha..."Linda was cut off in her thoughts when she heard Desiree's voice,she immediately felt happy and turned to look at Desiree and that was when she heard it "mate..."she looked back at alpha Ryde and saw him walking towards Desiree.
