We Miss Her

Sasha's POV:

It's been a week, we haven't seen srivi, we miss her touch, her laugh, her voice...I can't imagine what she's going through*tears*.

I can't even have a good sleep. It's already 3 in the morning.

What should I do now? Kriti is in deep sleep. Should I wake her? No, she starts missing srivi. It is better to let her sleep I thought to myself.

I just got down from the bed, drank some water, and went to the window that is right to our bed. I slide the curtains. Looking at the velvet dark sky, I just sat there thinking and reminiscing the best memories we made.

Kriti's POV:

6:00 AM...Phone rings

As the phone rings, I woke and tried to lift the call, by the time I lift the phone ring got cut.

I neglected the call and slept.

After a few minutes, I woke up with the sun and found curtains were already slid. I found Sasha sleeping on the floor near the window. I laughed to myself seeing her and helped her sleep on the bed.

Suddenly I remembered that I got a call and I didn't lift. I looked at my phone and my heart is pounding, My hands were sweating and couldn't make a move, MY eyes became misty.

The call was from srivi's mom.

I really have no words for her. What should I tell her now? Can she digest the truth that her daughter has been missing?

I should manage, I thought to myself and made a call to her.

Kriti: Hello, Am I talking to Mrs.Achuth?

Cousin: I'm Ekta, Siri's cousin.

Kriti: Hey Ekta, I'm Kriti, Srivi's friend. I got a call from Aunt Neha a 2hrs back. I was sleeping and couldn't lift.

Cousin: Yes kri, Aunt is concerned about srivi.She is not lifting the call and it's already been a week.

Kriti: Oh! this girl was really busy with her exams and forgot to call you and she broke her phone. It's given for repair.

Cousin: Huff...she will never change..hehe

Kriti: I'll make her call as soon as she gets her phone

Cousin: Okay, I'll let aunt know about this.Bye

Kriti: Take care Ekta.

Somehow I managed but we wish she shows up. Even the cops are searching for her.Ugh.When I find her, I'm gonna kill that bish. She's so dead.

I just remembered the old days, how we used to wake each other. I took a jar of water and splashed on Sasha's face and some on her pant.

"Eww...grow up girl, you still ee in pants?" and I ran from there.

I made coffee for both of us, meanwhile, Sasha got herself fresh. Sasha likes the coffee made by me. She relishes every sip of that. We both made a good time on the lawn.

I found the pantry nil and I'm too lazy to fill it up. I sent Sasha to run errands. She left and I just sat there listening to music. I started missing ray.

I made a call but he didn't lift. Meanwhile, I thought of making cupcakes for Sasha. She loves them a lot. I put on an apron and went to the kitchen. I heard my phone ringing. It's Ray.

I was angry at him for not lifting my call nor he called me back. I left it to ring and die. I kept the cupcakes in the oven.

My cupcakes started to smell delicious. I started missing Srivi again. I just took them out and kept them on the table to let them cool.

The doorbell rang. I was expecting Sasha but to my surprise, it turned out to be Ray. I got startled and didn't move an inch. He directly stepped inside and locked the door. I looked into his eyes. We stared into the eyes of each other.

I bit my lower lip and he gave a big smile. We chuckled and I ran into the kitchen. He grabs a cupcake and I snatched it from him saying that it's exclusively for Sasha. He made puppy eyes and I moved to the kitchen island.

I sensed his hands embraced me from behind and whispered "I don't need any cupcake, I already have one" and bit my cheek gently.

We could hear Sasha's footsteps. He let me go and walked away from me. Sasha entered saying "You bish, you said you needed time for yourself and look who's here?" and shook hand with ray.

I smiled and said, "I didn't call him, I don't know why he came".

Ray's POV:

Huff! This girl always calls me when I'm totally engrossed in my photography. She might be blowing a fuss for cutting her call.

I called her a few times but she didn't lift. I thought to go to her apartment. I found Sasha on my way. I asked her where she was going. She said she got some errands and said that "Kri is home alone. Enjoy your time" with a sarcastic smile.

I went to Kri's home and rang the bell. I could smell cupcakes as she opened the door. My mouth started watering. She gave me a killing look. She is looking gorgeous, in her night suit. Her hair is loosely tied into a bun with no make-up. I couldn't take my eyes off of her.

Sasha's POV:

How sweet of this girl. She made cupcakes for me, They are yummy. Kriti went to take bath, meanwhile, Ray and I shared cakes while watching a movie.

After a while, Kriti entered the room and sat with us. I served drinks and popcorn. We selected the Shadow hunters series because it's SRivi's fav series and all the time she used to force us to watch it.

It's already late so kri said ray to leave. They did their cheesy stuff.

"Get yourself a room" I yelled.

"I would gladly accept that"Ray mocked by smirking at kri. IN return he earned a smack on his head from kri. They look cute together, I thought to myself.

I and kri made our self comfortable on the couch.

Kri's POV:

After a long time, it feels like we had a good time. I wish Sri was here. we Turned off the TV cos I got my own joker to make me laugh. Sasha is cracking some bad puns and gladly it made me laugh.

We started to remember our fun time together. We were laughing hard. Out of blue, our main door slammed and there stood a figure.
