Interrogation

Srivi's POV:

I have spent a number of sleepless nights due to him and it is time for perfect revenge for everything he did to me. I called him and he did not lift, maybe asleep.

I thought of calling him once again and his name displayed on the screen.

"BEASTIE"

You know like the beast from the beauty and beast. He is nothing less than a beast.

I lift the call and remained silent.

"Hello, hello? Sri, are you alright?" he asked and I still remain silent.

"Sri, speak up"I sensed worry in his tone.

"Where are you Sri?" He yelled this time.

"Shhh, I'm not deaf" I replied.

"f**k" he said under his breath.

"You are safe right?" he asked with a worry-filled tone.

"Why don't you see it yourself?"I said.

"Huh? you want a face time now?" he asked.

"Ohh, so you are still in bed with Scarlet, huh?"I said.

"God, Sri that's a misunderstanding," he said.

"Okay, come and explain it clearly then" I said.

"Where?" he asked. I sent him the location of the park.

The sky is still dark and the cold breeze reminding that it's winter.

"So, see you in 10, "I said.

"Like in 10 minutes?" he asked.

"No, in 10 hours" I replied and Hung up the call.

Got up and changed into a sweatshirt and tracks and pulled over an oversized hoodie on top.

David's POV:

So I am happy that she wants to meet me but is she crazy or what? It is still dark and I am sleepy. But anything for her.

I got up and drove as fast as possible. I was like 15 minutes late when I reached there and I found Srivi on the bench.

I took a step towards her and she is sleeping with a calm face, she looks peaceful. My sleeping beauty.

I sat beside her and she opened her eyes, she looks drowsy.

"You came?" she smiled.

I looked down to meet her eyes.

"Yes, "I smiled in return.

"Oh, you feel warm" she laid her head on my shoulder and wrapped her hand around my arm.

I got frozen in the seat. "Sri..."I gulped. I don't know, she is making me nervous and it is happening for the first time.

"Sri, wake up" I whispered in her ear.

"No, let me sleep. It is all because of you and did not have any good sleep in the past week. let me sl..." she is sleep talking and I sat there feeling her warmth.

Srivi's POV:

I hear people talking and I feel warm too. I felt little weight on my head. I open my eyes and then it hit me, I am in the park. I turned to find David who is asleep and my hands wrapped around him.

We are sleeping?

David opened his eyes and our eyes locked. He gave a gentle smile and I'm just lost in his eyes. Being in his arms feels good.

*Is this love...* My phone rang.

Holy s**t, what a timing? I mentally facepalmed.

I pulled away from him and lift the call.

"Hey girl, where are you? why are you not in the bed and it is still 7:00 in the morning" Sasha yelled being worried.

"Hehehe...sorry.I came for a walk, will get back there soon" I replied and cut the call.

I turned to look at David.

"You came wearing a formal?"I asked.

"I was tired and slept in them, then you called and the rest is history" he replied.

"Gosh" I can't believe it. I removed my hoodie and give it to him. He wore it, he looks cute in that though. I giggled to myself.

"So?" he asked.

"So?"I asked in return.

"Why did you ask me to meet here?" he asked.

"Is not you the one who message me saying meet me in the park?"I asked.

He bent his head down and scratches behind the neck. Let me tell you, he looks cute whenever he does that.

"Just felt like spending time with you, I did not get much time yesterday" he replied.

"I could not have any good sleep in days, so I decided to take revenge by calling you here and disturb your sleep"I chuckled.

"You are a psycho," he said grumpily.

"Do you want me to start from the recent events or from a few weeks back?"I asked.

"From past maybe?" he said with his confused yet cute face.

We started walking.

"So, you bought me in the auction that day?"I asked.

There is hurt and anger in his face while thinking of that day.

"I didn't want you to be involved in Mafia" he made me look at him by holding my arms "They are bad people and I didn't want you to get hurt. You looked innocent and I still remember your angelic laugh," he said.

Maybe he realized my confusion by seeing my face.

"I once saw you before, smiling out loud," he said.

I formed an "o".

"Why did not you tell me before going to Mexico?"I asked.

He gave a shy face. "I could not because I had mixed feelings about you," he said and that made me blush.

I cleared my voice"okay, why did not you come back early with Alec, and why you let scarlet be with you?"I questioned.

"I was so worried about your safety, so I sent Alec and I still had some business to finish over there and Scarlet...I know you don't really like her. So I chose Alec to be with you and kept Scarlet by my side." he replied.

I know I have feelings for him and I wanted to confirm few doubts before getting into any relationship with him.

"Umm, can you please explain about the last night Mr? You were with Scarlett and god knows what you both were doing, "I asked.

David's POV:

Gosh, what's gotten into her?is this any exam? I'm being asked question after question. As If she's attacking me with questions.

"Last night was a misunderstanding Sri, it's Scar, she picked the call and Scar said that she got annoyed about you calling me at that time and being possessive I don't know why she made that sounds.

During the whole time, I was in a meeting. You can even ask Alec" I said. I hope she believes me.

She glanced at me and walked away without even blinking.

What now? I thought. I walked alongside her and silence filled the gap.

"Any more questions?"I asked.

Let me tell you, Sri asking questions is better than she being silent.

"Umm, how much is the price?" she asked.

"Huh? what price?"I asked being confused.

"The auction, bid price," she said.

Seriously? she got to ask that out of all? god, I can't believe her.

"Why bring that now?"I asked.

"Just curious" she replied.

"25 million dollars" I sighed and she got frozen in her spot.

"Are you mad? god, you bought me for 25 million dollars? you could have asked them for some discount," she added and that triggered me.

"You are not any slut, stop asking me about that day, "I said being annoyed.

"Sorry" she muttered."but still it's a huge amount. how can I repay you?" she asked and that made me laugh.

Seriously? she wants to pay me back.

Just be my girl, my baby, my love. I wanted to reply to that but I couldn't. I shook my head in disbelief.

"One Last question," she said and I turned my head to look at her.

"Why did you stared at me on the last day of college. As if you gonna devour me" she asked being hesitant.

Shit. "You want me to be frank?"I asked. She nodded her head in response.

"Mmm...I was looking at your lips, they looked very tempting, I felt like kissing you"I dared to look at her and she bit her lips.

"Don't, don't do that, it doesn't help"I said.

"Oh," she replied. I can see her blushing. we both fell silent. Great I made this awkward.

"Why?" she asked.

I looked surprised at her "because something can't be helped"I replied.

"You like me?" she asked.

I just stood there not knowing how to respond. I was about to open my mouth and her phone buzzed again.

"Gotta go, bye," she said

"Huh?"I asked.

Bye, she waved her hand "and yeah, I forgot to give you this" she said and handed me a Pendrive.

"Look at it when you are free," she said and she walked away. soon she disappeared from my sight.
