Beauty and the Beast

Kri's POV:

I don't know why I acted like a total b***h and came back to India, but the only thing I know is *I want space*right now.

I want to be away from ray for few days. I want to see if this works and more like I want to prove to him that staying away from each other won't work. He should realize that.

I wanted to let out thoughts and the best person to hear me out is Sri, so I decided to call her.

"b***h it is 2:00 a.m. at the midnight, what the hell you want?" she started cursing.

"Hehe, I love you, "I said, not knowing how to start a conversation. Because I was the one who acted all normal earlier when she called me.

"Ok I am all ears," she said which made me laugh and I started explaining everything.

"You remember? I was all Moody and low all these days. Always spent my time with Ray, it is because he got an opportunity as an intern, a big one"I continued.

"Uh-hum" she said.

"And..."I stopped.

"And what?"Sri questioned me.

"If he considers taking that opportunity we are going to get separated. I mean I am not the type of girl to stop him from growing or being a hurdle in his career but I am going to miss him badly"I don't know I was crying until Sri told me to stop my muffles.

"So I am confused and hurt and thought of having some space so I came to India, "I said.

"Dude, no one calls that space, it is more like you are trying to escape from the harsh reality and this also proves that you are dumb. You people already got very little time to spend together I mean if he takes the chance and you went to India? leaving him? Girl gets back soon or else you gonna run short on time" she tried to put some sense in my mind.

"And"I became hesitant to continue.

"And?"Sri asked.

"And I decided to tell mum and dad about Raymond, "I said.

"s**t girl are you out of your mind? if you tell them you know what will happen right? who knows they won't let you come back here or worse they will get you married to some stranger. you know the only rule they said while we came to the US right m  no love marriages and we should not love anyone and that to ray is a foreigner. you gonna mess things badly" she said.

"But I need to tell them at a certain point right?"I asked.

"Yes baby and that certain point is not now" she spoke.

"When are you going to come back?"Sri asked.

"I should stay here at least for a week, "I said.

"I just hope Ray doesn't get mad by thinking of you," she said.

"Hope so"I giggled.

I didn't felt like disturbing her sleep anymore.so I hung up the call.

Srivi's POV:

I slept while thinking about David. I realized it is Sunday tomorrow and being that said it means that I can't see  David and spend time with him.

I decided to call. I know it is already 3 in the morning maybe they are asleep but according to my guess they may wake up now to go to the gym or maybe still asleep but anyway

I called Alec and he picked it up.

"Hey" I spoke.

"b***h are you a real s*** or what? You try to seduce David and now Alec too?"

And I know that is Scarlett. I'm just in shock, I did not even know how to respond. slut? Me?

"Or should I say you are the one who tries to seduce David all the time?"I asked.

"It is none of your concerns," she said.

"Oh yeah, we'll see, "I said."give the phone to David, "I asked.

She laughed like a maniac "well served, this is your place David never gives his number to the w***e" she spoke.

"I think I did not serve you well in the Cafeteria last time, no problem I will make it equal this time when we meet, "I said.

"Now give me the phone"I ordered.

"You know what? I can't it is 3 and you know we are in the middle of"

*Ah... David, no* I heard Scarlett moans.

I felt disgusted and cut the call. I don't know why but I felt hurt.

Alec's POV:

I looked at Scarlet who is happy and laughing after cutting the call and that is my phone I guess.

"Who is that?"I asked.

"Some slut. why do you give your number to everyone?" she asked being annoyed.

I just shrug my shoulders and took the phone to see who it was.

Shit, it is Srivi.

"Scarlet, you liar" I yelled.

"Liar? Me? Did not she come here as one?" she laughed.

"What is the noise?"David came out from the meeting group.

"Srivi called and"I stopped in mid-sentence.

"And?" he asked.

"And Scarlet called her names. I am trying to call her, but she's not picking up" I said.

"f**k it" he cursed and went inside.

David's POV:

I calmed my heartbeat because I am a little nervous to call her at this time. But anyway I called her and literally after 5 times she picked up.

"Who is this?" she asked with her voice full of annoyance.

"Umm," I stayed silent not knowing what to say.

"Are you dumb?" she said. "I am hanging up".

"Wait wait wait, this is David"I spoke.

"Oh, David?David who?" she asked.

"David jake" I replied.

She said "good for you" and Hung up the call.

She is on fire.

I called again. "Hey Sri, are you alright?"I asked being concerned.

"Don't you dare call me Sri, I am just srivi for you" she said and that did hurt me.

"What happened?"I ask.

"Are not satisfied with that scarlet? Did not she call your name and all those moans? Did not satisfy you? So you called this slut of yours?" she asked.

Why is she talking all nonsense?

"You are not making me any sense, are you drunk?"I asked."madwoman, why are you calling yourself a slut? Shut up with that language" I said being angry. Is she gone mad or what?

Srivi's POV:

"Great, now you are even angry at me? After doing all the s**t. Dude, I am the one who should be angry. Go, go to your Scarlett. I don't want to disturb your sweet time" I said and cut the call.

I got a message. "This is my number, save it and let's meet tomorrow at the park, xoxo David."

I ignored and slept.

David's POV:

"Scarlet" I called her name so loud enough to get up from her sleep. Both Alec and scar came running into the living room.

"What happened David?"Alec asked in an alert tone.

"What the hell happened when Srivi called?"I asked looking at Alec.

I noticed Scarlet gulp.

I grabbed scars arm tight and looked straight into her eyes. "Speak" I yelled.

She made herself free from my grip and took a step back.

"Srivi called and I thought she was being a two-timer with you and Alec. So I called her slut" she said.

"What the f***? How can you even think that? She is more like my sister"Alec yelled at scar.

I know that is not it, Sri voice said that there is something more.

"And?"I asked.

Scar closed her eyes.

"I said David don't give his number to his sluts, when she asked for you and she deserves it"she spoke.

This doesn't add up as well.

"How dare you to call Her slut?"I asked.

"You brought her here as a s*** so I said the same" she answered with a plan voice.

"Know your place scarlet, I treat you like my friend don't try to get on my bad side," I said. She nodded and retreated.

"Stop, "I said and she stopped in her tracks.

"And?"I asked.

"There is nothing more" she stuttered. I looked at her.

"I...I... Moaned in the phone call by calling your name" and she ran away to her room.

"Holyshit," Alec said. I glanced at him and went to my room

Crap, this explains why Srivi's tone was like that. She taught me and Scarlett were having s... I can't even complete that sentence.

How dumb Sri can be? How can she believes Scarlet and misunderstand things? God save me. I thought and tried to sleep.

It is already four now it's been almost 2 days since I got any sleep. As soon as I got here I went straight to Sri, did not even had any rest.

Sunday is just me day, no Mafia, no complications. Just my day. I close my eyes. I was falling asleep and my phone rang.

Who is that i***t calling me now? It is 4:30 in the morning.

And the name showed "AURORA".

Srivi, my eyes lit up.

You know like Aurora from Beauty and the beast. I am the beast here and of course, she is the beauty.

Why did she call me at this time? Is she In any danger? I called her back immediately.
