POV  Evanne The waves lapped upon the cliffside as if desperate to climb and devour all who stood on top of it. I sat and watched the sunrise. It had been almost two weeks since I had come here. Aunt Eveline made sure I had a place to stay right next to the inn. It looked like a run-down shack from the outside, but inside it was more like a studio apartment. There was only one room, but it was behind a wall from the kitchen for privacy. There was also a tiny but nice bathroom. It was a nice little place for me to get started with my new life.  I still had to pay Charles and Leo for the building, but I mostly paid in odd jobs around their inn, like cleaning or sometimes cooking.
