“Just take it easy, will come over to the house by weekend with Damian to speak to her”.
The call came to an end.
Frantically, Denzel is tired of his mother’s persistent talk about Chloe getting married. He pick up his phone to call Damian.
Damian was just returning back to the living room. He heard his phone ringing. Ruby, help me with the phone. He calls out to his wife.
“Hello Denz”.
“Damian, Mom is at it again. She brought in to the house a man to match make with Chloe. Chloe called me to inform me about it”.
“We should go to the house by Saturday, to talk this out. Chloe threatens to leave the house if this does not stop”.
“Ok Denz, will see you on Saturday. Extend my greetings to the family”.
At the end of the call, Ruby told Damian, Chloe had called earlier. Damian knew it was same thing Denzel told him, Chloe wants to discuss.
Raising his eyebrows, he said to his wife.
“It’s still about Mom and Chloe. She brought a man to the house this evening for Chloe. And Chloe threaten to leave the house if the act doesn’t stop. Myself and Denzel will go to the house on Saturday mom really needs to stop this”.
He stopped to catch his breathe.
“Damian relax, I understand how angry you are just relax your mind. On Saturday you all should let mother see the implications of inviting strangers to the house”.
Chloe took a light shower and falls back to bed. Cassandra still sat outside with the young man expecting Chloe.
It’s been over an hour since Chloe went upstairs. Cassandra send the maid to remind her, her attention is needed downstairs.
The maid knocked many times no answer. She left.
“Madam, seems miss Chloe is fast asleep. She is not been answering the knocks”.
The young man stood up to leave since Chloe has decided not to show up.
“I like to take my leave now Mrs Cooper, thanks for inviting me over”.
Cassandra felt embarrassed, she stood like cat caught her tongue. Her eyes were rolling around. It took her five minutes to regain her self back.
“What did Chloe just did to me now?. Did she jus embarrass me just now?”.
She walks upstairs in anger. Arriving at Chloe’s door she bangs it with her might. The noise from the bangs disturbed Denise.
“Hey dear, what is wrong?. Why banging her door so hard she might be sleeping”.
Cassandra explained how Chloe left her and a young man downstairs without showing up.
Truthfully, Denise is tired of the endlessly effort Cassandra has put into match making their daughter. He moved closer to her.
Please allow her rest today, she must be tired from work. Tomorrow is another day.
The couple left Chloe’s door.
On Saturday at noon, Denzel arrive in the house. Few minutes later Damian drives in. Their parents were surprised to see them. This is because none called to announce their coming.
“Denise, come downstairs surprise awaits you”.
“My sunshines, none of you called to inform us ahead, so nice to have you both at home today. How are your wives and kids doing?”.
Cassandra is so happy to see her sons.
“Mom, we really need to be here today. The family is good”. Denzel answered while hugging his mom.
“Ruby sends her regards” Mom. Damian replied after hugging Cassandra.
Quietly, Denise comes downstairs.
“Hello Champions, How you doing, where are my grandchildren and wives. Only you both stop by?.”
“How is the sales thriving in market?. I hope our brand is still leading in the trades market”.
“Business is going well Dad”.
“Chloe has been able to get some different flavors to add to the brands”.
“We are here for a crucial talk Dad, where is Chloe?. She should be home today”. Denzel added.
