The cigar in my hand does nothing to relax me. I've avoided Constantine all afternoon, but I could feel him watching at Alexa when she wasn't looking. It's irritated me like an itch that I couldn't scratch. The fact that she kept looking at me wasn't enough to calm me. I knew she had no interest in him and, technically, she was just trying to help me. A part of me was mad because the point she was trying to make landed.
