Tom and I have rebuilt our relationship after the small hurdle, otherwise known as Kayla.
After I reviewed all the footage that Tom had presented and heard his side, I realized it was just a misunderstanding. Tom wasn't Nate. He wasn't straying with his ex. I was the only woman in his life.
That's all I needed to get past our misunderstanding. I needed that reassurance, and Tom was more than willing to supply it.
It's been two weeks since Tom returned. We made up that night officially, and I promised not to jump to conclusions without hearing him out again. With that, he also promised to improve his communicative skills. This was the second time he had gone rogue without letting me in on the details and both times, it backfired on him. I hope he's finally understanding my needs.
