I can't believe how well we are doing on time, it's now nearly 3 hours of driving and Paige is being amazing she has drove so fast I will have to take over soon as don't want her in pain.
"Next time you see services pull in and we can trade places Freckles" I say as I look at her, she is concentrating on the road and looking in the mirrors. I get to see this side of her that I haven't really seen.
My phone rings making me snap back into the moment at its mum.
"Mum everything okay...are you there" I say quickly.
I hear a sniff so I know she has been crying and it makes my stomach feel horrible, I feel my throat go dry and my palms start to sweat. .
"Mum..." I croak out.
"Dec.. there is nothing the hospital can do other than make her comfortable" I hear her breathe out
