It's been just over a week since Elsie died, I went back to the office this week with Declan. Declan has been very quiet he is grieving and has been organising the funeral with Grace.
The funeral is today but I also offered to go with Darcey and Grace this morning for moral support with clearing out Elsies room at Victoria Lodge.
I walk into the kitchen to see Declan making a coffee.
"Hey Freckles did you want a hot drink?" He asks pointing to the cups.
"I'm okay thank you...your mum and Darcey are picking me up shortly" I say with a little smile.
He walks round the counter and gives me a huge hug.
"You have not just been my rock in this...you have been so good to us all" he says in my ear.
I smile at him and give him a kiss.
