Chapter 7 - Time For A First

I'm stood at the bar and get a nice large glass of rosé, I start to walk back when I see three men looking over at me, there obviously taking the piss at how I am hobbling with my crutch and my glass whilst trying to keep my bag on my shoulder. I get to the table and see that Ryan and Declan have joined us.

"Ah there she is we were wondering where you were" said Declan

I smile as I take a seat next to him and look at Gemma.

"We seen them at the bar and told them they may aswell join us" she said with a smirk in her face.

I started to drink my wine and look at Declan who is talking and laughing with Ryan. Gemma kicks me under the table to get my attention and then winks at. She obviously knows I find the man attractive and I roll my eyes and look towards her and Carly.

We are a few drinks in and us girls have been just having a giggle whilst the boys have been in deep conversation about old times.

I go to the bar to get another wine and one of the guy's from earlier shout to me "loose the crutch il hold you up" and wink. I shake my head and think of how there taking the piss again and then I see Declan at the side of me ordering a drink.

He looks at the guys and looks at me "think you have pulled Paige" he winks at me.

"nah there taking piss, never seen a girl with a crutch before" I say with a smirk

"Paige they are 100% hitting on you how can you not see that" he laughs and shakes his head.

I look over and they are still looking at me smiling.

I turn to Declan "nah people don't see passed the crutch"

The bar lady passes me my wine and I go to get my purse when Declan stops me.

"il pay for this and my JD...and... for 8 shots to be taken to the table over there please love" he says pointing at our table

I look wide eyed as he grabs my wine and his JD "come on you need to live a little" he winks and heads to the table.

My heart fluttered and I felt giddy, I don't think it was even the drink that just did that to me it was the way Declan was and how handsome he is.

I go over to the table and start drinking my wine I say thank you to Declan for my drink and then start laughing with Gemma at Carly spilling her drink.

Declan P.O.V

It is so nice to be out with my best friend and forgetting everything at the office. I look over and see Paige laughing with the girls, I can't stop thinking at how little confidence she has and how she thinks everyone sees her as nothing. It really makes me sad as I think she is stunning. I look at what she is wearing and see she is wearing a grey work dress and white blouse but it really shows her beautiful figure. I then look up and see her chest I look away quickly she is quite big in that area, not that I mind what size they are as they are beautiful either way.

I take a sip of my drink and see Ryan looking at me and then at Paige and he starts laughing. I look at him and give him a glare to shut up and he comes close to me.

"she is too good for you mate" he whispers laughing.

"your probably right" I say with a smirk

We get interrupted by the waitress bringing the shots to the table Ryan and Gemma start cheering on and they gladly take theres. I look at Carly "come on 2 shots each that's it"

Carly looks at me and says "not even one mate I'm already feeling pretty f****d" she says laughing.

I grab her two shots and give one to Paige and take one for myself so that we have three each. She glares at me and winces and before she can say anything I down one and show off by punching the air. She gives me a cute look and sucks on her bottom lip as she grabs one of the shots. She doesn't realize that she is getting me going the way she looks and then she just downs the shot. She is a squinting mess and then looks at me smiling. I can't help but join her smiling she then shows of by pretending to wipe dust from her shoulder giggling.

We both grab another shot and look at Gemma and Ryan to join in and we down our other shots.

Ryan stands up and nearly falls over he is now a drunken mess and says his goodbye he is worried about leaving Kirsty too long. As he lives near Gemma and Carly, Gemma comes up with an idea of them three sharing a taxi and me and Paige sharing one too. They say there goodbyes and I order me and paige another drink. I have a devil on my shoulder really wanting me to take this girl back and show her a real good time but the angel on the other side is telling me that I have never mixed work with pleasure. I am having such a hard battle and it's so hard seeing how she is looking at me, il try behave see how far I get.

Paige P.O.V

I am feeling very tipsy, the ground is moving alot but I know what is going on so I know I'm not too drunk. I look at Declan who has this beautiful smile on his face.

I find my voice and start questioning him on his life.

"so Declan is there a partner back at home?" I ask in a casual manner

"nope I have never settled down really" he looks at me and then with wide eyes adds on to his answer in a panic "I'm not a prick or anything I swear, if I pull a girl before I even take them back I let them know it's a one night thing" he then winces at his reply "that makes me sounds worse don't it"

I giggle "No your just a man version of Gemma, you just haven't found that one to keep hold off" I drink more wine.

He looks at me "so what about you? any special somebody?" he looks into my eyes which makes me gulp.

"well no, I was seeing someone but they used me and cheated, but I'm glad I can't really be with someone the way I am" I say sadly but then look up and put on a smile

"What do you mean the way you are? your beautiful there is nothing wrong with you" he says as he plays with a beer mat ripping it up as he speaks.

I blush but also feel annoyed, is he just forgetting I have a disability, is that what people would prefer to do?. I just look down and drink some more I'm definitely going after this drink else I won't be able to use my crutch and move.

"I think your scared to let people in because you feel they won't accept you because of your illness" he says as he drinks more of his JD.

I look up straight away and feel a tug on my heart, he really hit the nail on the head there.

I put my hands up "oh s**t you got me " I giggle. "What's it matter nothing will change I have been like this for a long time now I feel it's for the best" I say in a happy voice not sure if I managed to convince him.

"But Paige that's where your missing out, and that's why you don't know what is a real orgasm your in the percentage of women" he says in a whisper and a giggle

I do a pretend shocked face "oh s**t what must I do? ha" I laugh at him.

He looks at me like he is thinking and continues to rip the beer mat up.

"Declan if your bored we can go what's that poor beer mat done to you" I giggle at him

"Oh the beer mat is keeping me from coming on to you ... dear" he looks at me with a wink

Hearing him say that makes something inside me stir, I am thinking all sorts and I look at his hands, the beer mat is a complete mess and I just look at him and laugh. In my head I'm contemplating on actually doing it, what is wrong with me I have never had a one night stand and have only slept with Jacob a few times. I can't help but be so attracted to Declan that I think why can't we just have some fun for one night only.

"I really don't want anything serious right now" I say breathless

"Thats perfect right so why not still have abit of fun?, I can show you how to have a real orgasm why miss out?" he says in a whisper.

I laugh but see he is very serious and I'm not sure if it's the drink or him but I grab my bag and crutch and wink at him. He shoots up faster than I have seen him move and hold my hand to guide the way out. We walk out the bar and flag down a taxi, we get in the taxi as he says his hotel to the driver, I am now starting to have seconds thoughts but they disappear when I feel his soft warm lips kiss mine.
