1712 Words

He briefly glances up to see who the guard by his door let into his office before turning his attention back to the quarterly financial statements that he's been reading. "It's Sunday. You're not supposed to be here, Nicholas." Samuel says, as he frowns at the figures that he's seeing on the reports. "Neither should you, Sir." The young man replies in a casual but still respectful tone. The Chairman/CEO sighs. "I won't have anything else to do. Don't you?" He doesn't but he doesn't say that. Over the past months, he's done nothing but work and is obsessed over finding Diana and Jacob. Even after Samuel ordered for the search to stop, he didn't and that paid off. "I have news, Sir." Samuel turns the page of the report with his hopes of finding better numbers sinking as the paper flips.
