As soon as they entered their hotel room, the door clicked shut behind them, and Michael tossed the duffel bag he was carrying by the door with little care for where it landed.
Without a word, he turned toward Georgia, and the air between them crackled with a tension that had been building all day. Their eyes locked, and before either of them could think twice, they moved toward each other, crashing together in a heated, desperate kiss.
Michael’s hands found their way to Georgia’s waist, pulling her body flush against his as his lips moved over hers with a fervor that was impossible to resist.
Georgia’s arms looped around his neck, fingers tangling in his hair as she kissed him back with equal intensity, her heart pounding wildly in her chest.
