Just three months before my wedding with Alden, I caught him in bed with my half-sister. He proposed an open relationship before our marriage and blamed me for his cheating, instead of taking responsibility for his actions.

I ended everything with him and moved on, only to walk into the life of his half-brother, the biker president of the Salvation Riders MC.

I had decided ‘no more relationships’ and to just focus on myself, but why do I feel a strong pull towards this biker? I believed he wouldn't be different from his brother, but the Grey soft eyes that looked back at me made my heart race.

Chapter 1
Haven’s POV “Today's the last day of the month. I'll be going on two days off,” one of my apprentices mentioned to the other while they washed the bolts in the bowl with gas. I wiped my palms on my dirty jeans and pulled out my cell phone from my pocket to check if the order I had placed was arriving as planned today. It was Alden's birthday, and I would be going to spend the night for the first time at his home. Seven months since we met, and it's always been fun. He came around my workshop most times when he was free, sometimes visited home, and chatted with my family. I had visited him numerous times but never slept over. The buzzing sound of a motorcycle made me turn around, and it was a deliveryman with his bike. He alighted and walked forward with a box. “Hey!” I waved my hand at him, knowing he came with my package. “I made the order.” He nodded, "You're Miss Haven Lawrence?” “Yeah!” I grabbed the box from him, opened it there to confirm before he left. Sure that everything was complete, I nodded at him. “Thank you!” “Thank you too.” I couldn't wait to see Alden tonight and share with him all those I got for him. At least, he would understand how much I was interested in our marriage which was taking place a few months later. Once 6 pm, the three apprentices I had got set and left, and I was ready to leave too and not work overtime like the other days. I locked up the workshop and the garage where the motorcycles were parked, then headed to where my bike was parked. I mounted it, twisted the throttle, and zoomed, riding down the road back to the house so I could get set real quick. Tonight, I would dress feminine and not in my normal baggy jeans and shirt. Not like Alden complained, but I needed to look very alluring to him at least. So after I washed up, I got dressed in one of the gowns I hadn't been in for a long time. In fact, I wasn't so good at dressing femininely. In my wardrobe, you could only find all types of masculine outfits, and I preferred them over those gowns and skirts. I put on my sneakers and styled my hair. I wasn't good at having makeup, so that would be for now. I put in some things I would need there, and then left with the box, which was brought to me. “Did you hear from your sister?” I heard my stepmum call out as I walked out of the building, so I halted and opened the door again. “She hadn't returned my call for hours now.” I sighed, “Will reach out to her and get back to you.” She nodded and waved her hand at me. My uncle, with whom I stayed until I finished my mechanic apprenticeship, said I lost my mum after I was delivered, and my dad, out of sorrow, didn't mind if I survived. He took me himself and trained me till I turned nineteen. When he couldn't afford to start up a mechanic workshop for me, he insisted I get back to my dad, who was capable of doing so, and that was how I got back here. They hadn't been so good, but I didn't care because my focus was to save up a lot from my workshop and leave entirely. It's just three years since I started my workshop, and I wouldn't survive much if I had to begin paying rent out there when my dad had a vacant workshop that was serving me. My stepmum wasn't nice at all, not even her daughter. But my dad still considered that I was his daughter at least, and wasn't so harsh. I had gotten used to them and didn't give a damn anymore. I called for a taxi since I wasn't going with my motorcycle, and I was driven to Alden's residence. “Thank you!” I said to the driver and alighted. “I can't stop thinking about what will happen tonight. Would we do it for the first time?” I giggled to myself, fastening my step. Aside from a kiss, we haven't done much since we began dating, and I didn't mind. My exes cheated on me, and that was my deal breaker, so I decided to be careful with him. I was lucky not to ever let them touch me before I caught them cheating, so I still had my cherry intact. When I reached the door to his apartment, I pressed in the code that he showed me and slowly pushed the door open. The first thing I came across was a red heel on the floor. My gaze narrowed, and I dropped the box I was holding, then picked up the heel. “Who got this?” I muttered, looked ahead, and there was a brassiere some feet away. This time, my belly dropped forcefully. I slowly dropped back the heel and reached there, following even the g-string pant on the floor, his singlet too, boxer… Oh Jesus! What was happening? My heart was in my throat, my eyes widening in horror. I finally reached the entrance of his bedroom, and my body froze. The sound of skin slamming against skin, a female loud moan filled with pleasure…and then him, grunting and keeping the pace going. My palms clenched into a fist. Was I hearing things or what? I blinked, rubbed my index fingers into my ears, and nothing changed, then I bumped into the bedroom. On the bed, two adults were covered in a white blanket, f*****g themselves recklessly. I stiffened for some time while Alden stared back at me, shock crossed through his face. “What is happening here, Alden?” I asked, my voice shaky. Then the female looked up, causing my breath to catch in my throat. “Eve?! What the f**k is happening here?” my voice rose, my anger flaring. “So, this is where you are? Eve!!” Oh my gosh! This f*****g half-sister that I got. “You should be at your workshop, sister. Today is your man's birthday, so I thought you wouldn't be able to come stay with him. Is it that bad retaining your relationship while you work?” she uttered and steupsed so loudly it could pull down the roof. There was no atom of remorse in her voice. “Let's continue, baby.” Baby? Did she just call him that? “Alden?” I called out and crossed my arms. “You should have just told me my sister piqued your interest, and I wouldn't care.” “Are you blaming me?” he asked, sounding like I was supposed to be crawling to his feet right now. “Did you ever mention knowing my birthday? And you hadn't slept over, which I needed on this day. How would I know that you could make time for me?” So irritating. I was so unlucky with relationships. All the men I've always had are dogs. He was the fifth guy, and I think I'm done with this gender. “You two have been doing this behind my back. Just say it, Alden.” “And so what?” he snapped, not even bulging, because I guessed his filthy manhood was still in my sister, who kept running her finger on his chest. “Haven, you should be happy that I am still with you up till now. You should be happy that our marriage is happening in the next three months, despite how uncaring you've been. I am the prime minister's son, and you're just a mechanic, always covered in oil and grease, yet I chose you. With me, the world would know who you are, so brace up and wait for me in the sitting room.” My body went still for some time. Did I just hear all that from him? He thinks being my boyfriend was an achievement for me? “Alden, did you ever think I wouldn't care if you cheated? And of all people, why my sister?” I was trying to be calm, but I knew I would lose my temper if time wasn't taken. Oh yeah, he was the prime minister's son, and so what? Was he a demigod? “I told you that cheating is my deal breaker.” I pointed out, in case he had forgotten. “Why should I stand you cheating on me because you fell from heaven?” He scoffed and shook his head as though pitying me, “Then, let's have an open relationship until we get married. That way, I won't cheat again, and you will stop being a mechanic and be the kind of woman… “To hell with your stupid law,” I yelled at him. “Are you nuts? Didn't you meet me as a mechanic? You should have gone to my sister instead.” “Sis!!” “Shut the f**k up, you wench!” I snarled at her, and she looked away. “Alden, let's break up.” His eyes grew large. “Why? Just because of a common cheating? Do you even think there's a man out there that would accept you?” Who cares? I pulled out the necklace he had given to me and dropped it on the floor. “We have nothing together anymore, so go ahead and f**k my sister.” I retorted and turned my back immediately. “Haven, have a rethink, and I will give you a second chance. Men are scarce, and the few won't give you attention,” he kept ranting while I barged out of the room. My chest was so heavy as though it would burst, and the last thing I would do was shed a f*****g tear because of a man. I grabbed the things I came with and started leaving, my palms sweaty, and I didn't care. Fifth relationship gone for the same reason. Eve slept with my third boyfriend, and we called it a mistake, and I blamed the guy. But now, I didn't need to be told she seduced him and not the other way round. I called down a taxi to get back home so I could get myself drunk as usual after each breakup, and as I entered, my cell phone had a message from Rayna, one of my friends, right from when I was with my uncle. [About the party I told you about, can't you break this law of yours and join us? The drinks are free.] I took a deep gulp and leaned my head on the car's headrest. I hadn't clubbed before, so maybe I should give it a try this time. She's tried to convince me several times, and drinking with others would be fun too.
