" It couldn't be considered as a plan but i'm sure it'll work. " Kris shrugged his shoulder.
" I wonder what kind of plan a commoner like you could concoct." Thomas said in a mocking voice.
" At least better than yours. "
Kris's words made him instantly angry. His face turned in between red and white.
" You.....how dare you....a commoner like you dare to insult me, i am the noble of ...."
" Shut up. " Thomas was howling like a mad dog but he instantly shut up hearing this two word.
Marie snorted coldly looking at Thomas and said. " You are not the only noble here. And inside the forest your nobility won't amount to a pile of shitt, only strength speaks. You are insulting all the nobles with your cheap attitude. "
Thomas's face became twisted as he heard her words. He gritted his teeth and clenched his two fist tightly. He was extremely angry at both Kris and Marie, but the didn't dare to retort a single word of her.
Thomas was naturally not afraid of her but her background which was unshakable like a mountain. She was the daughter of a duke.
" I....i understand. " Thomas managed to utter these words after much struggle.
Marie's gaze fell on Kris as she asked.
" What kind of plan do you have lets hear it. "
" This...." Hearing Kris's plan Marie frowned. She was in deep contemplation.
" But...." She kept hesitating.
" Think about it carefully. It's not a bad idea at all. " Kris said smiling as if he was just a bystander and everything had nothing to do with him.
Marie looked at the four one by one. Thomas turned his face, he didn't approve of Kris's idea. Walter and Anisa felt that it wasn't too bad.
" If you want to win this is the only way. " Marie had an ambitious character. She naturally wanted to win, her competitive nature wasn't weak compared to Kris at all.
After much hesitation Marie finally decided.
" Lets do it your way. Although its a very uncanny method, if we can win then everything's worth it. "
Kris's eyes glowed with eerie light as he smiled slightly.
Inside the black tree forest was very different from outside world. After coming here for the first time anyone would feel that they have entered an another world.
Wherever ones eyes goes only darkness could be seen. A normal human couldn't survive five minutes inside. Magicians also would have a hard time moving inside Black tree forest.
Black tree forest was comprised of many layers, as for how many layers it had, it was still unknown.
Only thirteen layer was discovered until now. Beyond thirteenth layer no one dared to venture. Rumor has it even a rank five magician disappeared when he stepped beyond the thirteenth layer.
The academy students was naturally cautioned by the teachers. They were forbidden to step beyond second layer. First layer and second layer was the only place where spike winged crows lived.
So the students naturally had to reason to go beyond second layer.
Second layer had much more denser fog than the first layer. It wasn't any normal fog but death energy.
A group of student was fighting against more than ten spike winged crow.
Even when fighting double the amount of opponent they still held advantage against those spike winged crow.
The group of student was the elite among elite. Each one of them was able to take care of two spike winged crow with ease.
" Leader, we have collected thirty beast cores so far in such a little amount of time. Maybe we are already far ahead of everyone, hahahaha "
" Don't be so conceited. Did you forget about the princess? My goal is to surpass her and show that having dual element isn't all.
We need to kill as much as possible. This time i don't want to lose. "
The student who was the group leader said slowly. His group could be considered as the strongest but compared to princess Alicia he wasn't sure about winning.
Her group wasn't too strong, they had average battle prowess at best. What was terrifying is that her own ability. She could dominate the entire battlefield alone, suppressing all the beasts on the spot. Her dual element gave her an immense boost in mana, strength, spell variation, speed. Remembering the events the group leader's eyes glowed with determination.
" Leader, with your ability we are sure to win. "

" Leader i bet the princess is in love with you secretly, she must mumble your name in her sleep. "

They started bootlicking. The group leader became speechless, he was surprised by such supreme bootlicking method. If possible he would never want to hear such words again, it started creeping him out.
" All right get back to work, collect all the materials and beast cores. " He ordered.
Suddenly a screech sound echoed. The five student looked ahead hearing the noise. They saw a vast number of spike winged crow was approaching them.
" Oh my god! What's going on? Is this some kind of beast tide? "
" Leader what should we do? "
They panicked and shivered upon seeing such vast number of spike winged crow.
Their fighting spirit hit rock bottom instantly.
" Shut up, we will fight, this is a chance." The student who was the group leader laughed heartily as he dashed forward.
" Group leader! "
" This..."
The four of them looked at each other for a few moment. They decided to fight as they kep following their group leader.
