Chapter Nineteen

One month later.

October 1, 2017.

Aman has been held as the culprit and Mr. Mehta is back in the office with a promotion all thanks to the brain behind Manik.

Now, the two families are sipping some coffee, silently as the family priest is deciding on the date for the marriage of the two beautiful souls, in Malhotra Villa.

Nandini is playing with her fingers as she was waiting for this moment from the last so many months as she eagerly wanted to be called as his, forever.

"Ati uttam! 34 gunn mile hai..Shaadi me koi badha nahi aane ki sambhavna hai..(Very well!! 34 gunas have matched between the two! Very auspicious marriage! They won't be going through any evil eyes!)" The priest declared to which everyone gave the most alluring smiles while Manik caressed her back secretly.

"Vivaahit jeevan acha aur manohak hoga.Acche baccho ka bhi bhagya hai.. (Marital life will be very blissful. The lady will bear healthy children) "  Nandini blushed to which Manik smiled.

"Toh Panditji, aap humei shaadi ki taarikh batayiye (Then Panditji, tell us an auspicious date for the marriage!"" Shreya nudged to which the Pandit said "Dekhiye! Kundali milaane ke baad sirf do hi taarikh nikalte hai aaspas ke..ek hai 6 december aur ek 3 january or ek 1 saal baad ki hai (According to the charts, only two dates have come across.. 6 December and 3 January! And another after an year!" The family grew tensed. 

Nandini looked at Manik who held her hands and stood up "Can I talk to Nandini for a minute?" The family happily nodded to which both of them went to the gaden.

"Nandini..Trust me! I can wait for you for years and years so just calm down and let's wait for another year to get married" Manik suggested caressing her knuckles making her smile "Manik..I want to get married to you..I want to live a life with you..I want you to solve my problems now..I want you to take care of my tantrums now..And I want you to love me" She blushed and looked down making him go elated. Such a pure confession.

"So you won't mind, marrying me just two months later?" He caressed her knuckles to which she shook her head in a no.

"I love you" He pecked her forehead making her smile.

They both walked downstairs and declared that they were happy with the wedding on January 3" Everyone jumped in utmost happiness and exchanged greetings while the Pandit bid a happy bye to them.

"I am so happy you don't know!! Afterall this doll will come to our house just after two months" Shreya cutely caressed her cheeks and made her wear the kundan bangles, she had in her hands and joined MaNan's forehead while Manik snaked his arm around her shoulder.

"Shreya..Let's decide the venue and the functions today only because I don't think we have time in hand" Divya's voice had pure happiness.

The members nodded and sat around the living room while the servants too adjusted themselves nearby as they were very close to the family while MaNan sat on a couch happily.

"Nandini..Don't you have a wish?" He asked caressing her back to which she kept her head on his shoulder and said "Manik..I always wanted a destination wedding in Bali" And that was it.

"Mom! A destination wedding in Bali" Shreya clapped her hands happily and Vivek noted down.

"Whose wish?" Alya asked to which he smiled and looked at Nandini "My queen's"

And everyone again started noting down everything.

"Mom! What about a theme wedding?" Cabir suggested to which everyone nodded with the most beautiful smiles on their faces.

"Maa! Bachelor's? What about them?" Dev said teasing to which Divya said "That's your thing!! Youngsters should decide! Its your thing" And everyone laughed out.

And that's how their wedding was finalized.
