Chapter Thirteen

Next day.

Manik spread his arms and switched off the alarm clock and saw the time. 5 A.M. He smiled, like usual and went to the washroom to freshen himself. 

He was all ready in his Morning Walk Outfit and with a smirk, he went downstairs and found none. He was about to start his walk when he found Vivek too going to start.

"Good Morning Papa" He bent down and touched his feet to which Vivek blessed and hugged him.

"Why are you up this early?" He asked to which Manik replied "Morning Walk" Vivek gave an impressive look and they both started their morning walk.

"Rithvik Bhaiya?" Manik asked to which Vivek said "Well, it's just been some years to his marriage! Understand Champ" And with that both of them laughed, without any hesitation "So is in the case of Dev Bhai" Vivek nodded and asked "Cabir?"

"His morning starts at 9" Vivek laughedl and both of them continued their walk and sometimes jogged.

"Manik, I would really be elated to share this that! Son! If there was any other guy in place of you I would have warned him of taking care of her every minute but trust me beta! You always had given me positive vibes! I know,I will get more than I expect from you and I am proud of you" Vivej praised which made Manik blush and he hugged him, remembering her smile. His new shining *star*

*Knock-Knock* 

It was Manik, knocking at her door early in the morning like around 7 am with two coffee mugs.

"Yes! Please Come in" Nandini said from inside in a modest way which made him smile.

"Oh Manik" She smiled to see him and motioned him to sit beside her.

"Good Morning" He wished her and passed on the coffee to her who was in her specs, still in her night dress and with a book in her hands.

"Thank You and Good Morning to you too" She smiled at him and trust your writer's words! She was flattened by this small care from his side.

"What's up with this book and all, so early in the morning Miss Fiancee?" He twitched his eyebrows to which she gave him her evil smirk "And What's up with the Morning Walks and all?" Manik giggled "Thats for my fitness"

"So is this needed for the fitness of my patients" And both of them laughed. No signs of uncomfortable anywhere. Just pure lov- friendship.

"You never told me about any of your friends Nandini?" Nandini took off the specs and turned to him "I did but you forgot! That's okay! I don't really have a friend circle! I have only one best friend from college and that's it..She's now interning in France".

Manik nodded "Impressive!" "Manik! Nandini..Breakfast is up! Come down children"

MaNan smiled at each other and went downstairs and touched the elders' feet for their blessings.

"Nandu! Why are you still in the night dress?" Divya said, looking at the Malhotras embarrassed.

"Woh..Urm Maa" She knew, she shouldn't have done this.

"Are Are! Divya! It's fine! See actually all the children are in their night dress! So not a matter of concern" She kissed Nandini's forehead who smiled making Divya smile too.

After having a calm and soothing day, everyone was sleeping as it was already 10 while four couples were busy with each other.

"Urgh! This sleep" She cursed and walked upstairs to the terrace with a a blanket wrapped around her.

And there she smiled. His back was visible and he was literally shivering. She walked closer and covered both of them with the duvet to which he looked at her and was mesmerized by her, again. Someone was looking more beautiful than stars. He thought.

"You here?" She asked to which he smiled and adjusted himself on the swinging bed and nodded "Woh! I love this atmosphere so yeah"

"Same reason applied" She said and both of them giggled.

"I love Stars" He said all of sudden to which she looked at him. Maybe, he was preparing himself to be comfortable around her. I like it.

"And I love Fireflies!" She saud and looked at the sky to spot his favorites.

"You know! Stars are so shiny and they overpower the darkness so easily" He said looking at the stars.

"And according to Mumma, Fireflies are the sign of true love" She too was looking upstairs.

And both of them smiled, and slowly and steadily slept in each other's arms, wrapped in the quilt.
