THE ONE WITH THE SHARKS
“You ok?” Rhea asked her roommate as she entered the small bedroom.
“I am everything but ok,” Andrea answered the question.
“Stupid question I know, but to be fair you were the one who said I need to show more of my sympathy,” Andrea chuckled at her friend's answer. It was true, Rhea was a really dry person, direct to the issue and hated small talk, but sometimes she was too dry and wanted to change that, so Adrea suggested she show her sympathy more.
“Good job,” Andrea chuckled and tried to dry her tears. Rhea walked further in and sat next to the petite girl who looked like she was drowning in the amount of blankets and plushes on her bed.
“Need me to beat someone up?” Rhea asked with Andrea’s head safely leaning on her shoulder.
Andrea chuckled once again. “No, it’d be too easy, let her suffer with her decisions,” Rhea nodded and sighed.
Rhea and Andrea met each other first day of college, quickly realizing they were both Brazilian but with small differences. Rhea’s family was in Canada and had been since she was 12, while Andrea’s family was still in Brazil while she was studying in Canada. They quickly became friends and after 12 long months with annoying roommates, they decided to get an apartment for themselves near school. They were third years with completely different courses but they got along great no matter what and the fact that they were both gay left people thinking they were a couple but they never went there. Rhea confessed to herself she did kinda have a crush on Andrea in the beginning but then it quickly faded.
“What do you need?” Rhea asked Andrea quietly.
“I don’t know, maybe just stay like this for a while if you don’t have anything else to do,” Andrea said quietly as she closed her eyes and tried to slow down her rapidly beating heart.
“Nothing is as important as this, I can be here however long you need me to be here for,” Rhea said softly.
And so they stayed like that for a long time, only moving to lay down next to each other but Andrea’s head still managed to find Rhea’s shoulder even when laid out on the soft mattress she had.
“Oh s**t,” Rhea said as she woke up to her phone ringing loudly in the otherwise silent room.
“Shut it off,” Andrea groaned as she snuggled her roommate and threw a leg over her. Rhea was hyper-aware of the compromising position they were in and still took her phone out of her pocket and answered her mother.
“Honey, can you please pick up some garlic on your way? I’m running low and we still need to make rice,” Rhea answered a quiet yes before her mother thanked her and hung up.
“Andrea, come on, we got the barbecue at my parent's house to go to, I forgot it was even today,” Andrea groaned and untangled herself from her roommate before getting up and going into her bathroom to get ready. Rhea chuckled and went into her room to get ready.
Her phone started ringing once again annoying her even more.
“What is it?” She asked her childhood friend Steve who laughed at his friend's bad mood.
“Jeez, who stepped on your toes today?” He laughed.
“Sorry, just in a bad mood and getting ready to leave, am I still picking you up?” She asked.
“Funny enough I was just calling you to ask the very same thing,” He answered
“Great, hey can you go to that corner store and buy some garlic? Mom asked me to but Andrea just started getting ready so I don’t know if I’ll have enough time to buy some myself,” She explained.
“Sure, I was already going to buy beer why not throw in some garlic as well,” She thanked him before hanging up the phone and getting in the shower.
Two hours later her best friend finally came out of her room ready to go.
“Damn I was quick today,” she said impressed while Rhea chuckled but knew not to say anything else.
“Sure,” She chuckled as they both got in the car and were on their way to Steve’s house to pick him up.
“Jeez, you guys took-” Rhea stopped him with a quick look. He chuckled and relented.
“There you guys are, lucky these things start later than usual,” Rhea’s mother Maria said as the trio got out of the car.
"Heyyyyy," they all hugged briefly before going in.
"Go in and set the garlic and beers on the counter, your father is already outside meaning the grill," Maria tells Rhea to which she smiles.
"And by manning the grill you mean drinking beers and looking at the grill?" She laughs and nods her head. They all go into Rhea's childhood home and settle on the couch after saying hi to her Dad and the others.
Rhea's little brother Micha goes running to her and plops down on her lap making her laugh and sign to him.
'Hey buddy, how you been?' He giggles and signs back.
'Good, daddy took me to the soccer field yesterday,'. Rhea's Dad Antonio is a social worker and has been for the last 20 years. A few years ago they gave him the case of a little boy who didn't talk and didn't seem to listen. He took on the case and took the kid to get tested. There they found out he was deaf and not disobedient as every foster-house he had been in told them. He got furious that no one else saw that this kid was struggling and decided to take matters into his own hands. He and Maria took the small child in and started to learn sign language as well as enrolling him in a school for deaf kids. They all quickly learned sign language and Rhea got what she always wanted. A little bother.
'That's awesome buddy!' He giggled when she tickled his sides before skipping towards the kitchen frantically signing to his mother about wanting goldfish.
"He is so adorable, I just quiche his cheeks," Andrea gushed to Rhea who smiled widely.
"Yeah, he was asking me the other day if I've ever seen a shark while I surfed on the coast of Cali, I told him no but a friend of mine had, he asked to call that friend and see if they could describe how it was, and so I did. My friend told him the story while I signed and he was just mesmerized," Rhea chuckled. Andrea and Steve were looking at her with wide eyes and smiles silently gushing at the cuteness of the whole story.
The rest of the day was filled with fun, delicious food, drinks, alcoholic drinks, more alcoholic drinks, and more food. By the time it was time for them to go home, they called an Uber because it was not safe to drive.
Both girls stumbled inside their apartment giggling wildly.
"Ugh, I don't want to go to class tomorrow, I'm partners with Satan for chemistry," Andrea groaned to which Rhea just laughed.
"Tell her off or get a new partner,"
"I guess I could try to do that, but I don't know if Professor Goody Two Shoes will let me," She mocked the professor she so hated. He wouldn't let them do anything that was even remotely against some sort of rule. Nothing, not even sharpening a pencil while he talked was allowed. Hence the nickname.
"Yeah," They both took a sit on the couch next to each other.
"Wanna play a game?" Andre asked the brunette.
"Depends, what game?" Rhea asked quietly.
"Truth or dare, with tequila," They both nodded at the same time and got up to get the tequila bottle and shots.
"I'll start, truth or dare?" Andrea inquired.
"Dare," Rhea said.
"Do a shot while on a handstand," Andrea said. Rhea was fit enough to do handstands all day but doing it while drunk had proved to be quite difficult. She struggled but managed to finally find her balance while on a handstand. Andrea moved up to her with a shot of tequila and carefully turned the shot so it would go into Rhea's mouth. Although in theory, it should have worked, practice was another thing completely different, she turned the shot too fast and almost drowned Rhea who quickly dropped from the handstand and landed on her friend who was giggling throughout the whole thing. They were both laughing when they realized how close they were to one another.
"You couldn't do the dare," Andrea whispered. The whisper sent a shiver down Rhea's back.
"I know," Rhea whispered in return, giving the same reaction to Andrea's body.
"You gotta take a shot," Andrea whispered so lowly that Rhea could barely hear her even as close as they were.
"Yeah," Rhea whispered but made no move to leave the spot.
"Ugh, screw it," Andrea groaned and reached up, connecting their lips in a dance so sweet and rough Rhea had no idea what she would go back to regular life.
Their lips danced a dance they knew well but with new partners. Panting and putting hands wherever they fit.
They kissed rapidly, Rhea's hand was on Andrea's back and Adnrea's hand was on Rhea's ass.
"We-" Rhea pulled away as if suddenly burned by the reality of what they were doing.
"We probably shouldn't, right?" Andrea asked Rhea who was looking like she was high up in the clouds.
"Probably yeah," Rhea agreed quietly but not even a second later they were laid out on the ground again connected at the lips with wondering hands and breathless moans.
"I don't know if this is a good idea or not but I don't really don't care right now," Andrea whispered lowly before connecting their lips once again.
Rhea nodded and peeled her shirt off before Andrea did the same. Soon they were both in their underwear kissing wildly and hands wandering downward.
"Can I take it off?" Rhea asked as her hand slid up Andrea's back to her bra strap.
"Only if I can take yours off too," Andrea smirked. With one rapid move, Andrea's bra was off and on the floor as well as Rhea's.
"Tell me if you want to stop, anytime," Rhea said, Andrea nodded her head and pulled her in for another heated kiss.
Rhea slowly made her way down to Andrea's p***y and blew slightly, the image of her wet panties burned into her mind as she licked her lips in anticipation. She looked up at Andrea to see her already looking down with dark eyes. She nodded her head as a yes and Rhea hooked her fingers into her panties and slowly and sensually slid them down her legs. Her mouth closed around her swollen bud as Andrea's hand made a bird's net on Rhea's head. Moaning and panting Rhea ate her out like she was starved and this was the last meal on earth.
The very next morning Andrea wakes up from a long night on the floor. She looks next to her to find her best friend still naked on the floor and wonders how the hell they'll be able to move on from such a messy night.
