The life of a boy and a man.

There was a man who is a great soldier who has countless victories. He was acknowledge by the the people and the king, he was offered a rank that can make him escape the battlefield but he respectfully declined as he enjoys fighting. As their kingdom Aristla able to defend the invasion of the neighboring Kingdom Farmilla a peace rule over the continent. The well-known soldier who was named John lost his hobby and purpose. He often spend the day sleeping and drinking. The peace lasted for a long time, the handsome figure of John now is long gone. He now looks like a hermit and gained a lot of weight. As he try to buy for a wine he comes across a group of thugs trying to force a woman to go with them. John did not care but as the man is drunk he bumped into one of them, the thugs averted their eyes on John, there are five of them. One of the thugs punched John and the fight began. John being out of shape able to knock down three of them but the remaining two was holding a knife. John was able to grab and choke one but after defeating him the one left attacked and stabbed John. The woman then hurriedly attacked the last one with a wood and was able to knock him out. The woman then helped John and took him in her house and put some medicine in his wounds. After sleeping for two days John finally woke up and was in shock in the presence of a beautiful woman. They are both grateful for each other and John was able to know her name which is Lina. After the incident John was able to find purpose and it is to protect Lina, he now often spend the day helping Lina in her work, as the two became close they eventually became a couple and lived together. John then was able to go back to his muscular body and started working to be able to help Lina in their expenses. He was appointed as a royal bodyguard along with his friend who is a great soldier too and his name was Alexis and a stranger to them who is called Bryan. Their job is to protect the King, they will go wherever the King goes. They were inseparable, at night when the king is sleeping one of them will remain on guard in the front door. John was able to save a great amount of money as their job offers a great fortune. They were able to move to the city of Hanby which is the capital city of the kingdom of Aristla and the location of the palace of the King so that John is close to his home and to his workplace. The couple was able to own a bigger house and hired a helper named Jane and a guard named Robert. Lina became a well-known merchant in the city, she has a great knowledge about it as she was a trader before. Back to the palace John was assigned for the night as a guard, knowing the King as he was a great piece during the times of war they became close as the King offers a drink to John everytime he is on guard. They often talk about the past wars and reminiscing their own achievements. The King opens about politics, John know nothing about it but one thing he understood is there is a internal fraction who is opposing the King. Then he warned him that if something happens to him John should protect his only daughter who is Princess Alexa a one year old girl. Finally John was able to go home after a week of being a night guard, Lina has a great news and John was so happy to hear it. Lina is pregnant, she was estimated to being pregnant for two months. John is very responsible in taking good care of his wife, he did not hesitate to spend his money for his wife's well being. As a typical father, John wishes his first born to be a son so that he can teach him how to fight and introduce him to the princess. Months have pass, Lina now is in the verge of labor. Robert rushed to the palace to tell John that his wife in about to give birth. He was able to be with his wife and a for a few seconds a cry of a child echoed in their room. The old woman who helped them then hand the child over to John who is smiling so bright. The child is a boy, the couple then decided to name him Tristan.
