Chapter 3
Luca’s POV:
I stared down at her face wondering how I could have made such a stupid mistake, but how could I have known!! all my 325 years of being a vampire I have never heard of a werewolf that didn’t know that he or she is a werewolf, especially one walking around in the woods during a full moon.
I can’t believe I am about to lose my mate because I couldn’t control myself, I came to this town because I had a business deal to close with its pack leader Colin bass, a cold, mysterious, manipulative and calculative old man. The meeting got cancelled by him because apparently he had to take care of something’s in the city.
I decided to step out of my hotel room to clear my head when the most delicious and mouthwatering scent filled my nostrils I immediately knew it was my mate and followed the trail of the scent, I was led into the woods there I met a breathtaking scene,
My mate, a beautiful redhead with green eyes was standing in front of me but she wasn’t alone a massive werewolf was standing uncomfortably close to her so I couldn’t tell if she was human or not, driven by natural impulse to protect my mate I attacked the werewolf sinking my claws into its throat I ripped it lungs out then I grabbed my mate and sank my fangs into her soft tender neck, I realized too late that I have made a terrible mistake when the bitter taste of werewolf blood filled my mouth.
My mate fainted in my arms so I took her to one of the old cabins I knew were left in the woods in time of emergencies I laid her down and watched her sleep with fear in my heart that I might lose my mate just as fast as I got her.
I watched her sleep throughout the night her scent filled the room making me long for her, my beta texted me to know where I was I didn’t respond I just wanted a quiet moment with my mate, a little while later I watched her stir in her sleep, her beautiful long lashes fluttered open revealing the most beautiful green eyes I have ever seen , when she spoke my heart skipped a beat her voice was soothing and heavenly she asked who I was and where she was , I didn’t know how much she knew about werewolves and vampires but judging from her reaction I could tell she knew very little, I watched her struggle to get up from the bed holding myself back from helping her I saw she was about to leave so I blurted out the first thing that came into my mind and watched in horror as she fainted but luckily I caught her right in time before she hit the ground, I laid her back on the bed, picked my phone and stepped out, it’s time to give a call to an old friend of mine, this seemed like a situation only a witch can handle and Agnes is one of the best.
