Chapter Fourteen

POV Ally

                Anger, blind anger. That w***e! I f*****g knew it! I knew all along it was never me but watching them on that roof and the kiss. I knew it! At this point I do not care anymore I will tell my uncle where she is. He will turn her or kill her. Leaving me Jamie. I can not do this anymore. I was too afraid to tell him what I did but I do not have to tell him it was me that hired that man to kill her. He botched it anyway. Picking up my phone I dialed his number waiting for his answer.

                Suddenly the voice that has always terrified me answered “Awh sweet child we were just speaking about you. Go on what is my niece's news. Do you have news?” well it is now or never. I want her away from Jamie for good. “I umm… Yes! Uncle I found her…”. There was silence then a smile. “good good. Where is she моя милая (My sweet girl).” Uncle Vik said with what I could only imagine was a grand smile of victory. “LA, Uncle. She was in a coma and has since woken. What would you like…” he cut me off so fast. “WHAT! She was in a coma? Why?!? What happened?” Anger seething from his voice. “I do not know to many details about it but there was a fire. She barely escaped after saving her twin siblings. The fire happened about 4 years ago. Her mother and father are dead. She has just recently woken up. I felt a surge of power and was able to locate her. What would you like me to do now Uncle”?

                “Follow her and keep me updated. I will be coming to California soon”. He said with the silence that was echoing through me as he hung up the phone. s**t! He was coming here. He will end up holding his own investigation on the matter, and now I have to follow her every move? I have to watch her move in on Jamie! HE IS MINE! Where was she 5 years ago? Where was she when I met him? I mean I have heard the stories he left her for school. He left her… but since that fire, he has done nothing but leave me behind and run to her.

                I closed my eyes and tilted my head up towards the roof again. Watching my life fall apart in front of me. How did that power surge come out of her? This Gift of the gods. Ha! More like this joke from the gods. This w***e of the gods! Ally shut up and focus.

Jamie POV

                It happened so fast I did not understand what was happening. The look on her face saying it all. Hatred, anger and then I was thrown across the roof hitting my head on the rails, by this gust of wind coming from her. I watched as she emitted the gusts in waves and looking up at the moon. Focused on the light. Her hair blowing around gracefully, almost as if it was all in slow motion. “AMARA! AMARA!” I screamed her name trying to gain her attention. Trying to stand and walk to her. Resorting to half crawling, half walking to her. Holding on to any and everything I could. Until I finally reached her, grabbing hold of her to Anker myself.

                Grabbing her waist and attempting to hold her face and bring her into focus on mine. “Amara…please look at me..” I whispered into her ear. Slowly she began shifting her focus from the moon to me. The emotions in her eyes confused me. Was she mad at me? Was she like this because I kissed her? “Amara please come back to me. Focus on my voice please.” Saying loud enough over the swirling winds around us. Begging her to let me in. Slowly I felt her soften and come back to me. Causing the winds to slow and go back to normal. It wasn’t until she completely let go of whatever had her that I realized I was holding her up. It was almost like she was floating down and I was holding her up.

                She began to focus her eyes on me with a scared and confused look swimming in her eyes. “Jamie…what… I…Ally…I felt her. She saw you kiss me. She is so angry. We hurt her…” she quietly said as she put her face down in guilt. “Amara? Ally is up north…it is just you and I up here?” I said so confused by her words. Lifting her face back up to look at me. “No Jamie please listen… I do not understand any of this but your girlfriend is here… and she saw us. Jamie why? After…Jamie, you left me. You…I loved you for years. I was in love with you and you made it clear you did not feel the same way and now…” She pulled away from me. I grasped her waist again as she turned away from me.

                “Mari, I..” I stopped myself… again. I keep doing this. f**k! Holding her back and head to my chest I rested my cheeks on her head. Breathing in her, only her. God this feels so right to me. We mold together perfectly. Suck it up Jamie tell her. “Amara, I never thought of you as a sister. You have always been more to me. It just took me watching you walk away in that stupid cloth to realize it.” Turning her around to face me, I needed her to see in my eyes that what I was saying was the truth. I needed her to Feel my words. She glanced up at me with confusion in her eyes as I began to speak once more. “Listen, I do not know what just happened. I do not and can not even begin to try and understand but what I can say is that. Amara Rose Voznesenski, I am in love with you. I always have been. Everyone knew it except us. Ally left me. Even she knew it. I got no warning he left and took all her things. She is not here. But I am and I am here standing in front of you begging for you to forgive me for leaving. I was stupid and a coward. I came back that night for you. I was going to climb in your window and tell you. I ran into the fire for you because if you go, I go. I can not live without you in my life.”

                The look in her eyes showed she felt what I said, leaving me to grab her neck and bring her to my lips once again. Locking her sweet, soft lips to mine. Knowing I can keep pushing my words of truth at her but instead showing her through my determined kiss how I felt. How I have always felt and prey she would respond with the same energy in her kiss. It took a second but then I felt it. I felt the response I was hoping for from her. I deepened the kiss more and she did the same. I used my other hand to pull her up closer to me. Giving me more access to her lips, biting the bottom lip for access to her mouth. She fought it and smiled into the kisses. Which only caused the frenzy in me to bite at her lip more until she let me in. stubborn woman. Fine I smiled into the kiss and slowly moved my hand up her side which caused her to moan into my lips.

                Taking full advantage of the moan on my lips and stealing access to her mouth. I felt her defeat and surrendered into me. The kiss deepened and I felt it penetrate into my very being. I knew wherever she went I would follow. She was more to me now than gravity was to life. I needed her the light I felt from her was welcoming and warm. I slowed the kiss, giving her a moment until finally gifting her one last small kiss on her now red plump lips. I watched her open her eyes, seeing she felt what I felt, she felt my love. Everything else that has happened seemed like a talk for another time but for now, this was all we needed.
