CHAPTER 2-THE OLD VAMPIRE

Suddenly, he saw something was hanging at the top of the corner of the room. Then he shouted.

Samurai 3: “What’s that???”

Samurai leader: “What???”

All the people there were trying to look in the direction where their comrade pointed. However it was too late, the figure jumped and attacked them one by one. The situation was so chaotic. Since the room was not too big, they couldn't move freely or even pull out their katana swords. In just a moment, the riot team members that were gathering inside the room were slaughtered by that figure. The rest of them are still standing outside the room quickly running away as they try to reach the stairs that connect to the upper level of the vessel. However it's not that easy, as the figure suddenly steps out of the room and transforms into a horde of bats flying through them. Just in a moment, those bats gather together and change into a person that stands ahead of them. The riot team has nowhere to go as their path has been blocked by that figure. They don't know what that thing is and how it can change to bats and then change back into human form. They knew that thing was not human, a demon. They could see that both eyes were red with sharpened fangs that were quite longer than a human's tooth. Also the tip of his both ears was longer up, like an “elf-ears”. They don’t know what that thing is, but no matter what they have to fight if they want to pass through. However, when they were just about to attack that thing with their swords, that thing suddenly rushed toward them and attacked them one by one with incredible speed. Naohiro, who stands behind his comrades, knows he must do something if he doesn't want to be killed by that thing. He quickly used his sword-skill called, “Shinshōkaizan-ryū (NewMovesQuickSlash-Style)”. He strikes the level one of the techniques from that sword-skill, “Isshōryūzan (OneStrikeFlow-s***h)”, by dashing forward then jumping to the wall by running on the wall in very quick-speed then s***h on that thing and landing on the other side. For the record, this Shinshōkaizan-ryū was actually part of Kaizan’Gosei-ryū which was popularized by a young samurai, more than 300 years ago. After he passed away, Kaizan’Gosei-ryū slowly split into 2 branches from time to time, which are Kaizan’Ittō-ryū (changing from Kaizan’Gosei-ryū) and Shinshōkaizan-ryū. However as time went by, Shinshōkaizan-ryū started to fade away and became a lost martial-art in its era, as this sword-skill was very deadly and difficult to master. Because it depends on a person Shinki or inner qi-energy to wield the strikes. The more powerful a person qi-energy, the more deadly the strike would be. However, the weaknesses of Shinshōkaizan-ryū are, depending too much on qi-energy. If the opponent was highly skilled then he can avoid the strikes until the person who wields the Shinshōkaizan-ryū running off his stamina and qi-energy, then it will be disadvantageous for the person who is using Shinshōkaizan-ryū. oppositely, Kaizan’Ittō-ryū was much easier to learn. It also depends on a person's inner qi-energy, but not so difficult compared to Shinshōkaizan-ryū and it didn't drain too much of the user’s qi-energy. In the battle war, Kaizan’Ittō-ryū was much more effective. That's why most of the people prefer Kaizan’Ittō-ryū than Shinshōkaizan-ryū. However in one on one situations, Shinshōkaizan-ryū still has its own advantages. It does not mean no one learns this Shinshōkaizan-ryū, still some people are also interested in learning it. Naohiro was one of them, when he learned from his deceased master and he also was one of the best in his era. Besides that, no one knows if the opponent was not human, then Shinshōkaizan-ryū was the perfect choice. Back to the fight, Naohiro was successfully injured the-thing but he didn't know that the-thing's recovery capability was very fast. In a moment, the wound caused by Naohiro’s sword was completely healed as if nothing happened. Naohiro was very shocked when he saw that.

Naohiro: “What… are you???”

He is starting to suspect the-thing might be some kind like a demon. Then he saw the-thing flying to his direction, he quickly ran away as fast as he could. When the-thing was getting close enough, he immediately using his right foot to step on the wall at his right side then jumps up by using his left foot to step the other side of the wall and using his right foot again to step back on the wall at the right side, then make a backward somersault in the mid-air to passing by the-thing, when the-thing almost slices him into 2 parts with his hand. When the-thing passes below him, Naohiro quickly releases the level five technique of Shinshōkaizan-ryū, “Kaitenryūzan (RotatingFlow-s***h)”, by creating a spinning strike with qi-energy to s***h the-thing. That strike was perfectly hit on the back of the-thing and caused the-thing to fall to the floor. The cut was very deep and almost tore the-thing’s body apart. However, as usual; it generated again very fast like before, the wound started healed.
