Chapter Fifty
"I just- wanted to- take a picture," her voice went from a high-pitched one to a mumble and her bubbly eyes from earlier disappeared, her long eyelashes were all that Austin could see the moment she lowered her gaze and bit her lips hard. Austin wondered for a split second if those eyelashes were real. It was the first time he was noticing them. He'd been too irritated to even access her further than he had done earlier at the supermarket. Maybe it was her penitent look that made him scrutinise her. This woman was the perfect description of the phrase "a pain in the arse".
