Before the bride could join them, she was immediately sighted by the media who rushed to her. Austin's phone beeped just then. It appeared that it was an important call because he immediately excused himself, leaving Marvel and Pamela alone.
"You are such a good actor. How come you never told me?" Pamela scoffed, looking at him in disbelief.
"Excuse me?"
"You can cut the act now. It's just us here. There's no one here you have to put in a show for. If only I had found out earlier that you're the friend Austin was talking about, I would never have shown up here."
